well i managed to get a few things done for moditor... not pics for everything as it is scattered between mums house and dads house.
this is it for now anyway
ready to be sanded down and drilled... its the new switch plate...
most of my time is going into the king case.
seen as i am turning this pc into a htpc... maybe...
my uncle said he would buy this for me
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...oducts_id=6853
and also this for that cpu cooler
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...oducts_id=8579
that is all atm... still looking for pieces.
I looked at those DiNovo keyboards for a friend. If I was to make a HTPC I would definitely get one of them.
As for the thermal compound personally I think Arctic Silver 5 or AM2 would work far better than anything Cooler Master releases. Personally I use AS5 and have had no problems with it but AM2 works a few degrees better than AS5. But with all thermal compounds the application of the compound itself is the killer.
oh ok... can you please find a link on pccg and ill change... i was gunna ask you but haddent seen you around.
PCCG don't have AM2 any more but I recommend:
Noctua HT-H1:

According to this review LINK it actually out performs Arctic Silver 5 but is a bit difficult to spread.
AS5 is still a good thermal paste, very easy to apply and good temps. The Noctua performs slightly better at around about the same price.
i got my mobo back tonight!!!! so awsome... first time boot also :) so happy... i used some generic thermalright paste atm... shall change when i get the next order.. thanks 4 info
Congratz mate, took them long enough.
lol 7degree drop in cpu temps!!! omg so happy...
