Mac- Final cut pro and interface, low to no viruses.
PC- Cost, customization, and games.
Is there really any more arguing to be done here? If you aren't a professional videographer and you own a mac, you are really just paying more for an interface and "virus protection."
That's it.

Hypocrisy, hypocrisy, hypocrisy...
Hey Apple, you really think these ads are going to fix your market share?
Yeah. I guess I'm right.
And on a side note, if they weren't utter douches about their operating system, I'd love to give it a try. On a proper PC. Shame about that.

I think I might have seen that on youtube before, but I never (If I did, I don't remember it) saw it on TV.

I'm sorry, but I had to throw Linux in here. It was feeling lonely.
I think ultimately all three OSes will prevail.
Linux is really good for people who want a powerful OS with minimal restrictions and a lot of free, powerful, open-source tools. Newer versions (especially ubuntu distros) are extremely user-friendly once you take a few minutes to figure it out and about the only thing lacking is games.
Windows still offers (under XP anyways, can't speak for Vista) a decent amount of user power, with a lot of user friendliness and a huge support market. It'll cost you more money in the long run and short run, but lets face it, photoshop > GIMP any day of the week and pretty much the pattern goes on like this.
Mac OSes are being marketed successfully to "IT" hipsters, people who can't figure out windows machines saying they're too difficult or how macs "just work", or to people who do a lot of media editing, and admittedly, if I did a lot of media work, I'd prefer a mac OS (maybe not their hardware, though). I don't do a lot of media though, and I'm a power user, so it's linux and windows for me!

(even though I'm feeling like an elitist linux geek, i will admit that linux sucks for games and even though I will run starcraft through wine on my kubuntu install, i wouldn't try to get like, WoW running there)

Too young?
Assuming that was around 1995, that would have made me 35.
Maybe they didn't advertise much in the UK.

Wow, I barely watch TV and I remember all sorts of TV ads put out by M$. The "I am a PC" response ads to Apple's attack ads are currently running. Also prior to that I remember various ads, one with celebrities explaining how they use Windows in their daily lives, revealing the celeb at the end of the commercial (I think Jay-Z was one, possibly D. Trump if i remember right). Also before that I remember Windows commercials to the effect of supporting youth creating the future or something like that.

Re: The Mac ad that ticked me off...
I'd love to see this commercial...
"Hi I'm PC."
"And hi, I'm Mac."
...
(large Penguin appears)
"And hi, I'm Linux and @#$% you"
(large Penguin kicks the crap out of first two.)

Unlikely to happen.... Linux is mostly non-profit organisations!
