I once bent about 10 pins on my socket 775 board I straightened them out using pin-nose tweezers and it worked fine!

Bah, our 6800XTs are good for now. Although, it would be nice to have a faster card... but that's just me trying for too much... Yeah, that's either an AM2 (basically a 940) or it's a 939. I'm not counting the pins either :D
Exact same way this did, removed the HSF and the louzy zip decided the let go of the CPU. Afterwards, the mobo wouldn't boot, no beep codes, nothing, so the socket must have sustained some damage.Quote:
