I take full responsibility :D
and meat pounding indeed it is :D, all pins were screwed in by hand, it resulted in multiple cuts and bleedings.
and then the wheel wasn't even spinning, the points are just as sharp as razor blades :devcool:

i wanna see a test of meat going through em..
please!???
Hehe, me too...
But I am waiting a bit till the tank is airbrushed, cleaning all the meat from the teeth seems like a challenging task to me :bunny:
But in time I will do that too.
And for the specs lovers:
all the electronics which will go into the tank:
All this is managed by 3 different devices
- 4 optical distance sensors
- electronic compass
- 2 webcams (1.3MP)
- GPS sensor
- bluetooth
- (later also UMTS)
- 2 driving motors
- 2 grinding wheel motors
- 2 special motors to move the grinder arms up-and-down
- 4 servo's to position the flame thrower arms
- 2 valves for liquids
- 2 valves for air
- 2 sparc coils
- compressor
- pressure sensor(max 10 bar)
- Display with controlling buttons
- g sensor
A motor print which controls all the motors with feedback sensors to ensure all motors are spinning at an exact set value.
A Main controller board which handles most of the sensors, excluding bluetooth, webcams and GPS sensor.
A 1.2 GHZ ARM linux board, this one processes the webcam images to detect objects and makes the main decisions for the tank.
The boards are linked to each other much like your brain is connected.
The linux board (contiousness) which makes the decitions bases on the information it harvests from its sensor board.
Then the linux board tells the other board where the tank must go.
The lower devices then handle the rest.
(if you walk you don't want to think about how you walk >> setting one feet after another << this is handled by a lower part in your brain)
We want to use the same principle.
Who needs to clean the meat from the teeth lol. Remove the rollers and burn it off ;).
that would make a sweet ass rotisserie.. lol
I have been waiting for you to work on this for a while and all i can say is awesomeeee
I've got the schematics and boards also for the people who are interested in it.
MCB schematic
MOT schematic
And the PCB's themselves:

MOT PCB:
well i passed the science exam... 70% B-... top mark was 82% B+ so i did well.. ur lucky mate....
hahah :P
Boards look good, I can't wait for more.
Did I mention I have implemented an Bluetooth software driver for the PS3 sixaxis controller.
I can control the tank by the internal G-sensor.
:O
epic win
Now that is awesome. Finally a use for the PS3, besides Blue Ray movies haha.
lol /\
Soooo glad to see ya back with this mod:D
Looks awsome, cant wait for more updates.
Keep up the good work:up:
yours wecrookie:eek:
  that is all i can say +rep for sure simply because you created something purely designed to rend flesh then roast it

tank is wicked awesome dude!
I dont see any pictures in this log actually, just the posted youtube pics. I second pope's question, it there another log?
I don't know what happened to all his pics, but he does have the worklog posted on a Dutch forum. Only problem is, well, it's in Dutch. I'll look around for him and see if I can find out what happened.
Wow, I just thought wtf when I seen the flame thrower lol crazy , the flame tank would kick a$$ in robot wars :D, awesome, and controlled by ps3 controller wow, just wow.
Wouldn't want to put my hand near that grinder neither, looks scary lethal , pictures from page 1 to 5 are showing, all the rest are not but the youtube vids are showing, I don't know why I have not checked this 1 out until now, I really should be checking out all of these featured worklogs, some truly amazing mods.
:) So is the flame tank serve as an anti theft device for the pc hehe .
