i made my sketches up to date
touch sensitive buttons
new motherboard (EVGA 780i FTW) with custom made cooler
ill make foil between the plexi and the cover which has a circuit layout printet on
also, i took another model for the PSU, some random corsair , which is longer than the one i used before, so long story short, less space for fans => change
stealthed the dvd drive in the top ( someone knows if there are slim line slot load S-ATA drives avaiable?

first thing i did was removing the stock cooler and measure
and the cooler ill get built
except that teh Q will be milled into the cooler and not sitting on top
painted the outside black
i think ill give it a light sand and go for another layer
and i fixed the front, will draw the rest of the front on the plex so i can go straight to work when i have vacation

There two made by Samsung...http://www.samsungodd.com/Eng/
they are both external drives so no real knowledge of the insides, though from my experience they are usually SATA...

Most of them are SATA at this point.
You can get a laptop slimline SATA slot load for a lot cheaper, but you will need an adapter, since they combine power into the data. The adapters are usually under 10 dollars though.
The adapters are also cheap. They use the same on laptop HDDs.

i modeled the ram sink ill use, the arctic cooling ram cooler
and i recolored the northbridge cooler
also, i made a radiator cover
and this is the somewhat final version, the hdd holder still bugs me though :/
OMFG man, that really is insane. This is gonna be one of those epic mods. The HDDs are so close to the RAM sinks lol.
DAMN MAN, those sketch-up models look great. TB4O is right, this is going to be one of those mods thats never forgotten. Looking forward to more work.

i recieved some of my watercooling gear, YAY
got some new tools, YAY!
then i started to make the radiator cover, ya... meh, wasnt fun at all :/
hours of filing later we got this:
somewhen in between, i made some anti vibrating thingys for my pump
after some bending, we got this
that needs to go
but it wasnt only that small bar that was in the way, it is much more, like rivets n stuff, the guys at antec made a pretty good job from preventing me to mod easy :(

sadly i cant use my anti vibra sandwich, because the radiator is to high then :/
making the pump fit will be a lot of fun
actually this male to male connector should be used for the drainport, oh well, gotta order another one then
land this is the radiator without the sandwich, fits nicely
now ive gotta order some stuff
It sucks that you can't use the anti-vibrating device, I loved it, very creative! Great start on the rest of the case, and I know the feeling, it never fits without swearing.
