like the rigs charlii:bunny:
time for a little update in this thread:D
the mobo, ram and cpu has later on been changed to a phenom II 955 and a msi 790FX-gd70, and running 3.7 stable @ constant 100% load, 38c  with case fans off, and ONE 200 mm fan on the mo-ra @ 5 volt:D
I have always loved that rig mate :D. 1 question though, what sized tubing did you use? I am just trying to get some sizes sorted out for a new loop.
Hmm that's what I was thinking, cheers Spawn. Looks like I might be getting the next size up, a little to thin for me.
7/16" Ftw!
its 9,6mm OD, 6,4mm ID (1/4") :)
and thx:D
wow, surprised.
yeah, its some small stuff, but i´ve NEVER had anything easier to route! i absolutely love them!:)
Here is my current gaming rig.
Athlon X2 5200+ black edition 3.2ghz stable
4gb corsair XMS2
EVGA 8800GTS 512mb
Plextor Blu-ray combo drive
Samsung DVD combo drive
Thermaltake 750w Evo_blue PSU
Cooler Master Storm Sniper Mesh Edition case
A shot of the top of the case. The CPU cooler is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus I am in the process of reviewing.
Here is a better shot where you can see the bottom. The PSU is a 750w Thermaltake Evo Blue. The fan has RGB leds and can cycle through: blue, green, red, multi color with patterns, multicolor and single color flashing. Its modular and you can expect a review on it soon.
A shot with the door off and it lit up.
Shot with it lit up shining through the mesh window.
I will try to get a few more pics later this week.
Very clean, nice job.
Thanks
nice work on cable management Oneslowz28, but where's the water??
The water will be there soon, dont worry.
I figured I'd post the pics of my current setup to show why I'm planning the project in my sig...so here it is, in all it's dusty, red glory:
Did you notice the single piece of tape that holds the thing together?
Below: What you'd see if you looked inside. The extra SATA data/power cable will be out of sight when my second Caviar Black gets here.
Below: With the flash you can see the actual hideousness that is usually concealed by darkness.
And lastly, here is the empty shell of a dell that is so full of proprietary parts any mod would be pretty extreme. I actually wanted to mod it instead of buying a new case (3-4 years ago)...until I realized what I was getting myself into.
Is that red one an old Vento? Love the XPS :D.
I don't remember wth the red one is...it's made by Raidmax but I couldn't track down the product name as it's long been discontinued. I actually dislike it because it's plastic is about the size of a mid-tower, then the aluminum case inside is much smaller...My knuckles get cut up just thinking about working in it. :hurt:
Left: is a computer i just gave a slight face lift for my dad, Was my sisters old rig (Pendium D 2.8ghz, 1gb ddr2 533, Radeon 9600 256, and a 60gb hdd) The ODD and FDD were an ugly beige that just stood out horribly against the case's blue and black theme so i used some of the paint i had left over from Project Blue Sift to paint them so they would blend in better.
Center: This is my girlfriends rig, wich is my previous gaming rig. (AMD Athlon x2 3800 939, 3 gb DDR 400, Radeon 3870 512mb, and a 250gb hdd.) It is still a work in progress. Tonight I'm gonna swap out the aftermarket cooler i have on it for the stock cooler form my Phenom II x4 940. The aftermarket that is on it isn't doing very good and I'm thinking the 940's stock cooler will be able to handle it better. As far as the mods go so far i have just pained the front and the dvd drive and swaped out the case's leds & fans for red ones. Next is to put in a side window and paint the interior of the case.
Right: Project: Blue Shift My current rig and work in progress, (AMD Phenom II 940 3.4ghz, 8gb ddr2 800, Radeon 4890 1gb, and 3 hdd totaling 4tb of storage) The project is almost finished i just have to come up with a design for the decals I'm gona have made for it.
If he actually wants the damn thing, Google tells me that it's an RX-9. It looks sleek, but I don't know that it would lend itself well to modding.
I like your style - very clean, black with an accent colour. Looks classy on almost anything.
The Satella DQ ( an unjustly DisQualified entry in the just concluded CM modding contest)
Once a BUCKET, now a Satellite looking rig...The Satella DQ (DisQualified)
some video of Satella DQ here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9qcse7yFYc&NR=1
Presently, I have my worklog here due to the inavailability of a faster Internet provider - http://www.pcmodz.info/viewtopic.php?id=302
Thanks for viewing. :D
Wow...you're Google magic is clearly stronger than mine!:bowdown:Quote:

I got it in '05, a time before I considered 'modability' in my case purchasing quests. I decided a few years ago that I was going to get something different to mod when I started noticing full immersion cooling and wanted to try that. For various reasons it never happened...but I'm working on it.
That looks pretty awesome! Why was it disqualified?Quote:

Since there are 2 parts of the story, I'll start with the first, the CM side...
the second part is the co-filipino contestants (philippines) that eventually pulled me to DisQualification.
First, It has a wrong type of judging - winning thru popularity vote, as announced before the contest started July 2009, voting can be done by simply registering and checking the worklog. Come that voting day Oct 2009, when voting went out of hand and accusation of vote rigging blown to proportionS, they added more rules that doesn't conform with the type of judging and eventually Disqualified the eventual leaders of the vote. After that, It went back to the first rule!!!
In my case, I made a suggestion on the second day of voting to separate the contestants vote (say 30 of us modders) with that of the viewers vote (majority are newly registered member/s who wished to vote for their relative, friend who join that contest) and make this just part of a percentage of the 100% mark. I was expecting much percentage should come to the CM group as I thought they'll check our worklog as well???
Anyway, it's really a sickening scenario with so many versions of story... and I will never join any contest with that exact rule of POPULARITY VOTING.
err btw, some obnoxious looking worklog and basic case modding process won in that contest. That surely isn't the place for me...
More likely it's a FAILURE OF ELECTION!!!
Thanks Brothers, Now I can breath fresh air, let's rock and mod!!!
the second part, maybe sometime in the future just for the sake of bringing myself to justice!!!
btw-as of this time, I am modding a second BUCKET, an exact duplicate of that one... into a submarine!
Yeah it was a really bad series of events, makes me noe want to buy CoolerMaster gear.
A Submarine you say, this should be interesting :D.
Yes Sir The boy 4rm oz the name is Subtella (the twin brother of Satella), i'll try putting my hand again in a blending machine (:whistler:getting into trouble:whistler:). I am still trying to find that video of Roger Moore as 007 James Bond (i think For Your Eyes Only 1982 fame) with that Submergable things they used. I'll do something like that...
The Satella, like a satellite will have to look like (flying) floating in space at all time, so I still have to make an elevated acrylic stand to rest... I'll post a photo of that full clear acrylic stand later.
Whilst this Subtella on the other hand, like a submarine will somehow be submerge it's half body into a clear acrylic aquarium with live tropical fishes in it...btw, I am a tropical fish breeder and enthusiast.
and after this Subtella, I'll reformat my brain to do a lesser job!!! like gardening...
I don't have anything negative about the CoolerMaster products, it is the people surrounding that miscalculated decision that makes them look bad!
haha! i signed up, just to NOT vote on a douchebag on another forum that asked for us to vote on his lousy excuse of a casemod thats the defenition of fail...
love the bucket sunny. and that competition was a tad failing. such competitions should be decieded either by lottery, or by qualified judges:)
Thought id revive this old thread to Show some pic's I took the other day
And of course
What do you guy's think?
Looks good man! Is that a HAF 932?
nope, it is in fact a Haf-X
Nice monitor set up you have ther. Are the 4 monitors all connected to the 1 rig or do you have a few more machines floating around?
All those monitors are hooked to that one rig yes, the tv is setup to the HTPC on the shelf, and I have a Haf 932 acting as a server off to the left of the desk you can see the vga and ethernet cords running to it in the first pic.
