soldier's poem - muse
and
put your lights on - santana and everclear
The awful background "music" (more like noise) in the Undercity in WoW... *shudder* This mess gives me the jibblies. Ah jibbly jibbly...
Deep Purple - Child In Time
Children of Bodom - Silent Night, Bodom Night
Well, isunktheship, I bet I could probably "hack" the game by going into the files and changing it, but I don't even go to that city but for one reason, training on how to use swords, otherwise I'm on a totally different continent. For $15 a month to play something that you enjoy isn't that bad, it's like paying for Cable TV or something, only without the commercials, and awesome support. I really am enjoying it as it's a well made game, by Blizzard, who has made only high quality games (well, as far as I can tell).
Panic at the Disco - Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off
Heh heh, it may be addicting to other people, but hey, I enjoy it, and it gives me something to do where I'd otherwise be bored and slowly going crazy from boredom. I, unlike many others, do not eat, sleep, breath, eat, crap, live, etc. WoW, and I'm proud of that. :D
CCR - Bad Moon Rising
welcome home-coheed and cambria
im on a testosterone high (is that possible) because i just saw 300 omfg!
Metallica - Fuel
Billy Joel - Scenes From An Italian Restaurant
Rammstein - Engel
Heh heh, Rammstein pwns, I listen to them all the time.
The Offspring - Can't Repeat
Widaris Hallen - Equilibrium - Turis Fratyr
Awesome Black/Speed/Folk/Viking metal song. 8 Minutes long and very epic.
EDIT:
Oh, and if you like Rammstien, check out Turmion Katilot. They're the more badass Finnish version of Rammstien. If you don't believe me, find their song "Pirun Nyrkki" and listen to it. It owns. Hard.
Gettysburg - Iced Earth - The Glorious Burden (Disc 2)
Awesome Power/Historical metal song. 32 minutes long and pretty much defines epic. For it's genre, anyways.
Dimmu Borgir - Puritania
Here I was... working in AutoCAD at the wee hours of the night...
I do not know how... but I went from Green Day, to... some how...
ok, I'm just going to copy/paste
James Horner - Titanic - Southampton
I dunno...
I'm listening to the sound of train radios sounding all over the place. Another busy afternoon for everyone but me. I've got the quietest job for the next couple of days.
The Aggrolites - Countryman Fiddle
the wind between my ears
Rammstein - Wollt Ihr Das Bett in Flammen Sehen
Cypress Hill, What's your number?
Nirvana - Something in the Way
Couple of my favorite lines from that song...
"I do alright, but I'm never satisfied. I'm told 'when you still love what you do it never gets old' "
"We hung all night, and we lost our friends...'til they caught us banging in the back of a Benz."
...
Actually met Eric Bobo (Cypress Hill's Percussionist*)in Long Beach while visiting a friend who was a roadie and backup vocal for Long Beach Dub Allstars. Didn't even know who he was until later that night my friend told me Eric thought I was all cool and **** for not making a big deal of meeting a famous star... Hehe if he only knew; "Who the hell are you again?"
*To call him just a drummer would be an insult
Hehe it just seems like i have done alot. Must be my age. I try to keep busy. I seem to end up in the right place at the right time. Especially when it comes to musicians... My adopted Father introduced me to Buddy Rich, Got to dance with Patty Smyth on my 21st birthday, partied with DEVO in Hawaii (those guys were truly freaky!), found myself backstage with YES (that was a Loooooong night!), Had a good conversation with some of U2 after the Live at Red Rocks concert (you can see me and my friends in a couple of the video's if you pause it at the right time). Ran into Jerry Garcia in a supermarket in Morrison, close to Red Rocks. Had no idea who he was at the time (not my kind of music).
In the end it really comes down to the line I quoted from Cypress Hill; "I do alright, but I'm never satisfied. "
EDIT: My wife still gets freaked out at some of the things that happen to me by circumstance. Some of the jobs I have had were ONLY due to being in the right place at the right time. (My _possibly_ future boss sits 5 seats away from me at the Shark Tank...) A boss from years ago hired me after I was polite to him in a supermarket. The next day he saw my resume on his desk, remembered the name, called me and offered me the job without an interview. Similar thing concerning the wife. We were within 50' of each other at least half a dozen times in several places around the country. Freaky stuff I tell you. And no, I am not that lucky with the lottery...
