I so have a feeling that he took the CPU out, and stuck the HDD to the socket with super glue...

So this is the new HDD he got to fix the system23 errors I suppose?

Apparently he didn't take heed to your warnings. So he bought the hard drive anywho...once he figures out how to get the power I hope he doesn't think all his files are going to be there. He still needs windows... ... ...


Wait...the power won't come on yet he's getting leds? Power is connected some where so I think hes plugged in. What the hell did he do.

And I am really glad its an intel d processor. That just sheds soo much light on the situation at hand.

What the hell did he do? If he just unplugged a hard drive and plugged a new one in then there shouldn't be an issue with power. Even if he didn't plug the damn drive back in...

Tell him:

I know this might sound strange but I need you to test something for me to be sure I am diagnosing the correct problem. If I am right, it will work.
First- Stick your tongue into one of the plugs you put into the hard drive. Make sure you touch all the shiny metal things in there evenly.
Then-Make sure the cord is plugged in. Don't forget this part.
Now- Push the power button and tell me what happens.

LMAO, I bet he'd try it to.

Or....tell him Alt+F4 will cure all his problems!:p
