I have to admit, i'm impressed they're all your own tools. Must have taken a long time to save up for the airbrush :) Looks good.

Lol, pretty much all my money goes to this stuff. I've been building the collection for years, so it has definately taken some saving. I used to have a paper route, so that helped. I run a few businesses, and those help as well.Quote:

looks good, and i love the IO set, but the coulouring is prob not what i would have chosen, like the yellow plexi :)
Thanks,
I have heard that from others as well. The yellow plexi looks more orange-red lit up (you'll see soon!). I wanted to stick to the Cirque du Soleil theme, and that means Circus of the Sun. So, I wanted to use yellow, red, and orange - all hot colors, like the sun.
In fact, the paint colors are "Sunbeam yellow" and "Hot pepper red".
looking foreward to more pics
This project is finally DONE. I started off with over a hundred pics of the case and complete mod and have cut the pictures down to about 25. Still a lot... but I wanted to show it thoroughly! I am looking forward to getting this photographed decently with a professional backdrop and not just my desk - that is to come later, not now. For now, here is the finished mod:
In my room
Can you guess what this is? =] it's the top of the drive cage. With the cold cathodes on the bottom, that entire piece of acrylic glows. The light on the bottom is it's reflection on the case wall:
Nice. A very cool mod. Orange is my favorite color.
Looks great.. You might what to use some of those wire management skills on the nest in the corner under your desk.. :p Actually I can't mess with you too much, the wires under my desk are attrocious.. :)
Just curious.. what is the cube on the top shelf?
Looks like a bench PSU....Quote:

Anyway, now that it's finished, why not add more?
There's a big space, centre stage, above the CD. Why not get some model figures and make it look like there's a circus going on in there? And put a backdrop behind them, where the case becomes wider.
You'll still see everything inside, but for me that space is crying out to have something in it. Hell, even a plasma ball...
Edit: forgot to say that it looks great!
Lol thanks guys, the cube on the top shelf is my Thermaltake Aquarius III external water cooling system controls.
Orange is also my favorite color, if you couldn't tell.
