I was able to clean up the bay cover.
I'm looking into that double sided foam now. Need to find something I like.
So I made the first cuts into the case.
Here is the proposed spot. This cutout will be for passing the fan controller cables through so they are not visible.
After the cutting and about an hour of filing.
Looks ok. Its in the back so no one will see it. Hopefully I'll get some things in the mail tomorrow or Wednesday.
Cheers till then.
2 boxes came in the mail yesterday :D
Inside one of them was my parts organizer. This will be great for keeping things seperated and organized. Wasn't expensive at all either.
The FrozenCPU box was a Reese's box.... not sure why...
Here is what I got!
Phobya 140mm fan for the back of the case.
2x Yate Loon 140mm fans for the rad.
2 meter NZXT LED lighting strip
Very bright!
The anchors it came with suck... they don't stick at all. But I can fix that.
XSPC single bay res
DD Pump
Silver strip for the res
1/2" barbs
Fill port adapter for the res
Single bay temp display
2x Swiftech fill ports
Phobya G-Changer 280 rad
Its massive... It is taller than 1/2 of the HAF X... which is a HUGE case. I had no idea it would be this big.
Fans installed
Now... how to mount it? I heard it was pre drilled for a 140mm fan as well as a 120mm but its a lie. I'm going to have to figure out how to mount this beast.
Thats it untill the rest of my pics upload. Hopefully I'll get some more mail this week and be able to do a leak test on the system.
Cheers till then.
Finally found some foam tape. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...TF8&s=hi&psc=1 Its only 1 sided but I'm sure my wife has some double sided tape around for me to use.
can you slide the rad back a little and just drill through the front fan bracket and the rear chassis and mount it directly?
you could get this stuff, dont know what shipping would run you though
