race what? you don't even want to know my backup pc... :whistler:
edit: yeah, darth gets me, but still, haha.
i used to watercool, gave my lil bro it.... it wasn't portable enough for my liking, with how i drive and whatnot. haha
edit2: okay, ill tell you. my backup just needs the 960 i gotta go get, hopefully the next week or two. 6gb memory, 2tb hdd dual gigabit lan board, and two 5870's. there, i said it. my HTPC is a core i3, the 2.93 ghz model, i just need to find a video card, as i removed my second 5870 for my backup rig. the i3 has 8gb mem, and bd rom
cpu memory, yes. video card, and soundcard, no. :whistler:
edit: mine is better for me, as i don't compile decompile scripts, but i like music and games.
Mine's lived the longest :whistler:
Therefore, it has durability! :D
I never understood why people waste money on sound cards. It never sounds any better than onboard
The only soundcard I would get (that wasn't onboard) is the SBLive.
And only because of the emu10k processor.
On an unrelated note, Trace Hagan and Cale Hagan are brothers, right?
well, you obviously don't have good headphones, then. i rarely use my z-4's, trust me, asus zonar vs onboard, if you have good headphones, any average joe can hear the difference. never buy creative, in that case, i would prefer onboard. creative is crud.
