do a little math, figure out some dimensions, and then see if you can make it fit. if you cant get it, tell me the dimensions you want, and the hardware, and ill have a good look at it.

that is a deal
whan i get the blowers, i'l make some notes and send them to you
i should have the in 3 days the most
BTW: what do you think i could co with a 500W non atx server psu 5v and 12v rails
well if you dont plan to use it as your main psu, it can either serve as a back up for redundancy, or you could use it to power the lighting and blowers so there are two independent electrical systems going at once. OR you could piggyback two psu's to power a real monster system (maybe use one for the motherboard connections, and the other for video cards and drives.
if its your only psu.... well its pretty much set that you need to use it for everything. i hope it isnt the onyl one you have, because extra power is always a good thing.
my main psu is the everpower from the list, as i said this one is a non atx thing
i will use some servos on the frame(secret:D) thinking of powering them, but i dont know what thay need 12v 24v
oh.... ya.... i wasnt thinking there. ok, so then yes nifty doodads will be powered by it.Quote:

you know, i was just thinking it might be cool to have servos open everything up. if they run on 24 volts, well im sure you could just do a little electrical fiddling and double the voltage easy.Quote:

i have to talk with my servo dude, see what he can give me but fitst i have to sleep
its 3:00AM in here and for the last 3 days this has been my bed time, wakeup call at 8AM= a very twichy GearHead
because i cant do anything until the blowers come in i thought i'll do some sketch work
the 2 thingys near the mother board are the ducts for the blowers
you can see the blowers under the ducts
you can also se o space in the area of the ide plugs, that is the gap that wil allow me to conect the hdd psu and cdrom to the mobo
slug i hope you see this
yes i do see. i THINK it looks like it should work, but im not 100% clear on the motherboard orientation yet. maybe if you could add the motherboard and ducting together so i can see them both as they will be in the end.
now, speaking of the blowers and ducting. thats a little hazy in my head. is it safe to assume that the blowers are the long rectangles and the ducts are the two cylinder shapes? if thats correct, well there is probably going to be some turbulence at the transition between rectangle and cylinder.
remember.... the word of the day is SMOOTH, as in smooth ducting to minimize wind resistance, turbulence, and to a certain extent noise.

the long rectangles with a cylinder at the end is the cross flow blower(check the data sheet) the duct is the thing on the mobo side, the thing that looks loke a roof ouuu f#ck it can i sed you the sketch by mail
ya, just send me everything you think is important. im just having a little trouble wrapping my head around this ducting and blower stuff. its always easier to understand when its YOUR idea....
