Installed new Motherboard.... now no internet!?

ok, the first link I provide was for the verion 5.6... I've found the 6.63 version on the realtek website HERE

The easiest way to correct this is removing all of them and creating a new one.

it's not 3 local area, but local area #3
it means it's the third installation. the last number wont change anything

I think you don't have the Realtek Drivers Installed. .

i restarted after the update...

now it changed the name to local area connection 2 all by itself...

i tried ipconfig again. it reads:

connection-specific DNS suffix . : blank
autoconfiguration IP Address. . .: ###.###.###.###
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . .: ###.###.#.#
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . .: blank



I tried ipconfig /release and it just said the same thing

tried ipconfig /renew and it errored

even thought it was reading the connection before, I tried a usb connection just to make sure that wasn't the problem... still no internet.

Install windows agian on a separate partition.

You may want to try: sfc /scannow
. .maybe your sys file integrity has been compromised?

i'm very tempted to fill this thing with a brick of blackcats and gas then finish it off with my 12 gauge...

I cant think of any reason why it would do this bs
