I have yet to play it as well. its on my list of to-dos! lol
I'm not sure I'll ever play assassins creed. I had a friend who wasn't that into it, and I get bored too fast.
I'm going to keep an eye out for it on sale over the next few weeks. Hell I still have yet to even open borderlands and I have had it for almost a month. I miss the days when all I had to do was sit around and play video games. :(
my brother-in-law just bought me left 4 dead 2...insane game  we've been playing multiplayer co-op lately. I've also been playing MW2 MP like crazy, at level 58 now. currently havin a blast with the 3rd person cage match
Ever since I finally got the mouse-lag to go away (had to put it in compatibility mode for XP), I've been playing Far Cry 2 a lot. It's fun just going on a total rampage blowing **** up and reigning chaos. Great stress relief, lol.
FINALLY beat Star Ocean : First Departure for the psp. I started it over a freaking year ago. . .
It wasn't hard at all, just a bit grindy in places. Sometimes you were too high to do anything, and others too low. Most of the game was just a tank and spank though, so I doubt I will be playing SO2 any time soon, especially as the battle system is the same I guess.
Been playing this game as well. Sat unopened on my shelf for a couple of months and I completely forgot about it. I like the game. It is a little addictive too. I love going into the towns, planting an IED and then popping a few guys so the rest will come after you, then BLAM! flying bodies. Cleared out the entire town with only a few shots...
Too bad the guys guarding the leaders houses keep respawning...
Funny thing is, even though I have bought most of the weapons I still only use a few of them. I got in too much trouble using the flamethrower...
What I WANT is a helicopter and a silenced sniper rifle.
Does anyone have Borderlands? Its a really great game. Co-op is the(fun) equivalent of L4D without the harsh consequences of splitting up. Only problem is that most people down know how to forward ports, but you cant host without forwarding. Although, that means my game fill up REALLY quick.
I've got Borderlands. It is a greatly fun game. Unfortunately when one of my SSDs died a few weeks ago, I lost all the progress that I had made...including one lvl48 character
My brother and his friend are huge fans of borderlands.
Maybe you want to get a game set up with them? IDK how good they are.
Just started Replaying Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on my 360. Love this game!
Playing Torchwood now. It's alright . . . good not great. If you get it on sale for less than $10, or if you are into the dungeon crawler genre, I'd say this is pretty good. I play games for compelling story, or really immersive playing experience. This doesn't quite do either for me well enough. But it is fun.
Me too! lol coop mode is awesome in that game. one of the best.
I've been playing through Borderlands a few times with my brother and just started playing Mass Effect 2.
Just beat Gradius 3 for SNES. Very much appreciative for save states, as I would have ripped my eyeballs out trying to beat it in a reasonable time on the cart.
Just started playing Left 4 Dead again and realized why I stopped. There is no real story line. Everything is open and you can just pick the level you want to play. If you stop playing you have to remember where you were and select that level again.
I am having fun with it, but felt it could use more connection and storyline.
just barely got COD:MW2. gotta say, its pretty engaging. :)
If you play it right you should be able to finish a whole campaign in less than an hour, under two on expert.
Each campaign is its own story, loosely tied together with fan speculation and a few of the lines the characters say. They are meant to be stand alone "movies" in a quadrilogy. I'd say the story is fleshed out about as well as most Hollywood zombie movies (which is usually little to none).
Right now I'm playing Hammerfight, which is on sale for $5 on Steam right now. I played the beta when it was still in development and then it fell off my radar for a few years. There is something refreshingly SNES about it, but the physics of the game will make your mouse feel heavy, which is great. There is a bit of a learning curve. You will likely fail levels two or three or four or five times before finally beating it and moving on. The story can be a bit vague at times, but the gameplay is really fun, so I like it. It's a definite "go buy it now" game at $5.
Beat COD:WaW in a day. (Had some free time procrastinating midterms). Only did it so I could get to playing Nazi Zombies with the fiance. Was fun. "Ooohhh NoooOOO. They're coming in the windows!!! EeeeeEeeeK!", lol.
We went through and played coop the first time, but apparently it doesn't save your progress. So when you stop, and then go back to it, you'd have to play from the beginning again. Argh. Hence why I had to bang out single player in a day, lmfao.
I just beat Super Dodge Ball for Gameboy Advanced, now im playing Dungeon Seige:Legends of Arrana er whatever it's called.
Trying to get my new computer up and running so i can play wow again.
just finished COD MW2 before work. loved the cinematic ending. very cool. pretty short game though. I have yet to move on to the spec ops part.
I heard that recently Chuck Norris beat the Sims 3.
I just got the new DLC for Borderlands. It's pretty damn fun so far.
I actually haven't yet...when my SSD died, I lost my character, so I've been working on building up another char to play through the new DLC with some friends. I just hit 47 last night (I think...if not, I'm really close), so just 3 more levels!
I've played through it like four times now... and thanks to a save file editor, I've messed up a couple of my saves, lol. Thankfully one of them hasn't been touched yet so I'll play through it with my bro at lvl34.
Just make sure you don't try Playthrough 2 of General Knoxx at lvl 34...you will be slaughtered. Apparently Playthrough 1 is best done in the upper 20's, but Playthrough 2 the enemies start at 50/51, so if you're not at 50 yet, you will die...a lot.
I believe General Knoxx was made to be a continuation of the story. Definitely not doing it in Playthrough 2 at lvl 34, but everything is at the right level for me in the first playthrough. I already keep dying a ton at lvl 36 when playing by myself... gonna wait for my bro to get home from work to do some co-op.
I recently found a MMORPG I'm going to try out, its called Runes of Magic, looks pretty interesting: http://us.runesofmagic.com/us/index.html
I'm going to try playing it in a sec, in whatever way "playing" refers to on a ****ty old temporary dell. I can't wait for that new processor for the new build XD. Tired of this crappy excuse for a computer.
Anyways, the game looks interesting, especially since its free and I'm broke as hell. It includes mounts, player housing, PvP, PvE, and everything else. I'll let you guys know how it goes should this peice of **** actually run it. XD
Edit: Well, seems like I wont be playing anything for a while. POS Dell/Intel's fault. This is stupid. Intel's website is such a pain in the *** I pretty much now know how it feels to be gay.
Wolfenstein for 360. i left it for a while then played it again and was only 20 minutes away from beating it the last time.
After beating COD:WaW I decided to go back and FINALLY play COD2. I've had COD2 and 3 boxed for xbox for a LONG time, yet had never played them.
It was fun. Some of the clearing building missions were quite a bit repetitive, but I did really enjoy the Russian campaign. There was a lot of vertical fights that just aren't present in a lot of games.
Beat Battlefield: Bad Company 2 back at the beginning of the week. Playing through it again, but this time with Softth 3x22" screens. Running at medium instead of maxxed, but man is it sweet.
Beat Battlefield: Bad Company 2. now working on the multi player side.
also working on final fantasy XIII.
Went back to Guild Wars, as it's F2P. Needed a fix, my PC is still not functional yet and I'm not restarting The Witcher until it is.
Beat FFXIII. Really enjoyed it once the original apprehension to the linearity faded.
Been playing UT3/Quake live to practice my twitch shooting for an upcoming lan. Tried UT2k4 but no one was playing it.
Beat MW2, BFBC2, working on Bioshock 2 and Wanted. Waiting for Assassin's Creed 2 to drop in price before I work on that one as well...
just finished assassins creed 2... lol... i had a crystal skull flashback after that one
finished serious sam hd
