looks nice :D
I really started to hate the mesh backplate I made so I made new ones out of 1/16" red translucent plexi. Now for the final pictures. Enjoy.

Cheers.
looks sick! +rep
Very nice! Sorry to see this one end, but the result is a head-turner. +rep
You sir, have an award!
Thanks all. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
I haven't been on here in quite some time so I got to see the whole project at once. It looks very nice.
pics are gone!!
Yep sorry I'm re editing them now.
Turned out fricken awesome!
Super clean job. Great colors. Definitely a first class build.
Pictures updated!
Thanks BS!
Turned out awesome Fuganater, super tidy & clean, the colour scheme & application is perfect too, congrats mate :). +rep
Thanks Waynio. I hope I can do a scratch build like yours one day.
Looks great! I liked the mesh backplates when you did them because it was different, but the new ones are beautiful. Awesome mod!
Ok so I tried yet another program to edit the final pics. Let me know how they look.
So I saw a guy on bit-tech who does updates in a collage. I thought I would try cuz I'm bored and see what it looks like.
last set of pics are the best so far :D
nice build mate! I really digg the colour scheme and the mesh paintjobs:D
+rep! :)
Looks great. Very professional looking and the photos are great too especially with the depth of field shot. Not sure about the collage though
Thanks guys!
Ya i'm not a huge fan if it either. Just wanted to try it out. I'm no artist -.-
Congrats on getting it finished! It looks great, very clean build! +rep
Guess we'll have to watch your other mods now, lol.
I sure do, I've been following it since you first posted the thread. Watching other people mod makes it a little better that I haven't had time to work on my own projects so keep 'em coming!
Looking good! very nice. Makes me want to finish my stalled project. lol
Looking good! very nice. Makes me want to finish my stalled project. lol
Just when you thought this mod was over...
More to come soon :D
That sleeving is sexy.
I did some sleeving last weekend but my wife had the camera so I'll get those pictures in the next update.
Got some awesome new fans. Aerocool Sharks! They push an amazing amount of air at 5, 7 and 12v. Got 6x 120mm and 4x 140mm
New 360 rad for the roof. XSPC EX360. With the Aerocool fans people say it cools as well or better than the RX360 which is a much thicker rad.
I don't like stickers
Much better
3 push fans on. I'll put the pull fans on once I get the RAD mounted into the case. They will go where the 2x 200mm fans are.
More to come soon. I got the rest of the parts for the res and some new pumps. I really wanted a matching pair of Swiftech MCP350's and I got them  . Only $40 each BNIB :P
My wife gave me the thumbs up to work on this after my daughters birthday party tomorrow.
Cheers till then.
Those sharks are good fans! Can't wait to see you put it all together! :D
Super cool. Amazing clean look.
TD
I got to have a bit of a "modding marathon" this weekend. Got loads done so here we go! (Some of the pics came out crappy and I'm sorry for this. IDK what my camera was doing)
EX360 rad installed and all the fans installed.
You can still see the 140mm rad on the back. I really really hate externally mounted rads but it was the only way to get it to fit. It will go away now. You will also see a MCP220 rad in the middle of the case. The plan was to mod the HDD cage to put my Phobya 280 rad in but its way too big for the bottom of the case. Luckily I have some rads sitting around that I bought.
Since the EX360 is thinner and sits further towards the font of the case. I can now fit the MCP120 rad inside the case.
240 rad with fans
Once I hid all of the cables it was time to start the tubing! The CPU gets the 240 and 120 rad. The GPUs get the 360 rad.
Now the GPU loop starts.
The rad and T fitting are zipped until I can find a more permanent solution. I'm thinking a rad stand would do the trick.
As you saw in my previous post, I got some MDPC sleeving. I redid the ATX Power and the 8 pin CPU cable.
Some of the front I/O plate.
I'm a big fan of custom cables now. You can make them exactly how long you need them to be. So I made 4 PCI-E cables.
1 done
4 done
2 sleeved
and installed
Next 2 sleeved
all 4 installed
Now sure if you all know how to get sleeving perfect. I mark where the sleeving needs to stop with a white paint marker. That way all my sleeving stops right at the connector.
Random shot of my res. This think was a nightmare to bleed. Took probably 4 hours of running for all the air to get out.
If you remember I had to mod the water temp sensor to be red. Well I did another so I have the temps of both loops handy.
You can also see I unstealthed the Blu-Ray drive. It was annoying and was sticking out the back of the 5.25 bay so it made running the tubing harder.
And finally here is how it looks at the end of the weekend.
I got some new LEDs in so I will be installing them soon.
Cheers till next time!
Looks good!
Thanks!
Forgot to say that the fans that are on the 120 and 240 are just temp. I ordered 6 more shark fans for them. Also ignore the unsleeved fan cables. Since they are temp I'm not wasting sleeving on them.
Hah yeah good choice, those sharks are pretty awesome fans
Hmmm, three sticks of ram??
Nice work! 'bout time we got a real update! :D
So I picked up some White SMD LEDs
I'm going to cut it every 16"... well close to it.
I installed 2 the the top and one in the bottom of the case. They light it up quite nicely.
And with the side panel on
While I was taking these pictures I noticed the case was quiet and felt hot...
OH CRAP!!!!
Somehow I hit the molex connector to my fans on the 360 rad and they didn't come back on. Once that was fixed it went down.
And finally I installed 3x 5mm red LEDs into the res.
Almost done. I think I will take a break and save a bit of money for the plexi bender. Its like $150. Expect more as soon as my new rads come in. I bought a new XSPC EX120 and 240. I'm also trying to score some Pastel Light Red Mayhems fluid and some Red Dye. We'll see how things go.
Cheers till next time.
