'Twas in Heaven pronounce; 'twas muttered in hell; and echo caught faintly the sound as it fell. On the confines of earth it was permitted to rest; and in the depths of its presence it was confessed.

Nice work on both of em. As soon as I saw the E one, I knew immediately, but didn't want to post, since it was similar to mine.

I still dont agree with this..
If "that man" is me, then I could substitute it into the riddle.
"that man's father is my fathers son" would be "my father is my fathers son".... which he's not.

The answer is nothing.
Nothing is greater then god
Nothing is more evil then the devil
Rich people need(want) nothing
Poor people have nothing
And if you eat nothing you will die
I win!:D

Never thought of it that way...I've been looking more at it in sort of a 3rd person perspective for lack of a better term. As in 'that man's father' is pointing at someone else, and just leads towards misdirection.
