Maybe backup your most important stuff but honestly, you should be fine. If you do mess up something, it's really easy to fix. I recently had a problem with my /boot partition not being big enough so I couldn't do updates, so I deleted my swap and boot, repartitoned, couldn't boot Ubuntu or Windows and with a simple "reinstallation" (I just went through the installer to recreate GRUB) it was fixed. Piece of cake.
Re: The TBCS member's Wallpaper Thread
wubi is a piece of cake, mainly becuase it dosen't partitoion yor system
its creates a virtual drive using a .DISK file, which is a set size you define during setup, warning though, peformance isn't as fast as a real setup, also your settings don't really save untill you shutdown! also you can't hibernate
Re: The TBCS member's Wallpaper Thread
I know im goin to sound like a noob but how do you take a screen shot of your desktop?
Re: The TBCS member's Wallpaper Thread
"Paste" into your favorite graphics editing program. MSPaint works also. :D

It really isn't bad though. I was using wubi for a while and i thought the performance was fine. I'm sure a beefier computer would make the performance hit even less noticeable.
