Too funny. The 'Fosters' that they sell here in the states is actually brewed in Canada. And since Canada is a foreign country, it's (and I quote) "imported" beer.
Re: Beer - Do you drink it ?
Hahahahahahah, hmmm it makes you think though. I have tried the proper Mexican Corona (my uncle imported some for his 50th birthday party) and I can tell you it tastes 100 times better than the stuff we get in Australia.
Re: Beer - Do you drink it ?
Personally, my fav beer would have to be Tooheys New. And although just about every aussie here would say its absolute piss, XXXX ain't too bad if you mix it with sars. Really. Go on, try it, I dare you! Also, Cascade and Becks, for when I'm feeling fancy.
Re: Beer - Do you drink it ?
TEDs are the best lol (Tooheys Extra Dry), forgot to add that to my post.
Re: Beer - Do you drink it ?
Surprisingly, not had a TED. I know what I'm doing this weekend (holidays are awesome :D)
Re: Beer - Do you drink it ?
Oh mate your missing out. Its only like $35-40 a slab, awesome.
Re: Beer - Do you drink it ?
WTF! where did carlsberg and tuborg go!?!?! -.-
Re: Beer - Do you drink it ?
I know a few bottle shops that sell six packs of actual Mexican Corona but it is really expensive. Wine for me would require a whole nother thread. Currently my parents must have close to 200 bottles under the house in amongst all the junk.

Tried several of their beers and like them. Just not the fruity ones...

Yeah. Defects like flavor, substance, body, and what you drink beer for (other than getting drunk).
Stupid. And all the lights? Why not just drink everclear?
The Ice cold campaign was started by coors, local here in colorado, is also stupid.
It's not the "coldest beer". Heat is a vital part in any beers life, it isn't shipped cold, it probably shouldn't be drank ice cold.
Stupid, stupid stupid. The beer commercials alone account for half of america thinking that it's okay to be stupid. Idiocy. Stupid.
Agreed! Food for thought; When I was young my friends and I used to swim upstream from where Coors draws their water... There are two names we use to refer to Coors; Rocky Mountain piss water and Colorado Koolaid.

LOL!

That said, I also like Peroni, Heineken, Stella Artois and a few Australia beers like Cascade and Coopers.
MMM forgot about Peroni... Heineken tastes too much like miller or bud to me with a nasty aftertaste...

No sure about anyone else, but the Carlsberg we get in the US is a poor substitute for the original.
There is a Pub in Santa Cruz called "99 Bottles". I am going to have to take a trip there and sample some of the imports.
Short story;
When I was in the Navy stationed in Pensacola Florida, a couple friends and I drove back to Colorado for the holidays and on the way back we loaded the trunk full of Coors and resold it in Florida, since at that time it was not possible to buy Coors east of the Mississippi. Paid for the entire trip.
