PC Case Gear Acey, it's located in Melb. Pretty good prices and a great range. Also good if you are looking for water cooling stuff.

i wired a small speaker from headphones and its now connected to a plug for a sound activated module.... im getting the module soon

then i bought heat srink paint and other stuff

thats for the psu mount its all marked out now

cut these holes with my scroll saw

they need to be fixed

scroll saw came with this attachment

i painted the switch pannel
2 of my switches 2 of 4
and the I/O sheild and now i have to paint the other 2 switches and wire things up

also need to work out what i am doing with the HDD fans

might just buy a 15 dollar hdd cooler

yea thats it for now

my lan is in 25 days and i hope to have this done by then...
if not ill have it together and un painted :P

Nice idea with the headphone speaker. Nice new scroll saw mate. That attachment is called a flex shaft. You get them for Dremels. You attach the end to the chuck and you end up with a pen sized tool for detail work rather than a heavy ass Dremel.

P.S I like the fan blades attached to your Dremel lol ^

i know its called a flexi shaft but i had a mental blank :P

my friend and i got bored so i mounted fan blades to my dremel

have had some close calls with it lol

UPDATE TIME OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

ok i just this minute ordered 300 leds 100 red 100 blue and 100 green

(mulitple purposes around the place an will be selling some also...)

and i ordered 1 mb extension and 1 4 pin extension and also 2 sound avtivated modules (1 spare)



but here is the update!!



my oh so great dad bought me 2 metres of u channel

cut it for the 2 current fan holes

i will do the other fan holes when i cut them

marked out my right angle alumini

cut two 45 degree lines out

used pliars to pull it out

did all 4 like so

wacked in the vice

bent by hand like so

it will fit like this once welded

finished my hdd cooler

its a monster

this alone is louder than my whole pc :0

also re did the HDD hidder for the back i did it in wood and it took 5mins and turned out great

i also painted my power and rest switches...

and wired a thing for the leds i bought and... made a blast door thingo for a future mod

found out that my leds may take 20 business days which is to long because my lan is before then but oh well..

the other stuff may be here tomorrow maybe next week..

hope fully they both come early next week or tomorrow

Overseas is usually that long. Plus it is a small order and I'm pretty sure you didn't pay for express post. 20days isn't that long.

I ordered some LEDs with resistors from China between one and two months ago, they said 7-20 days, and I got them in 10 or 11.

The 7-20 is a rough estimate by the business. They take into account altering flight plans and such.

Nice. Those ASUS monitors are good but are WAY overpriced for how they perform.

258 bucks i thought that was pretty good :)

MSY have a Samsung for the same price which performs much better. All in all it is better in technical tests, you pribably wont be able to tell the difference anyway.
