I see a iMac-style mod coming.....
I've only just got the PK102 and have only tried it connected to a PC projecting the desktop because that's all I really want it for with my next project, you have to set the desktop resolution to VGA 640 X 480 or SVGA 800 x 600 and the refresh rate must be set to 60Hz so up close to the projected picture it's not a really sharp picture for small text reading but I played a video from the PC using VLC player so you can adjust colour and brightness settings and sitting about 6-7 feet back from the picture it's quite acceptable but the darker the room the better for picture brightness.
I bought it second hand for £80 and don't think it's worth the money that some companies want for a new one, prices vary a stupid amount on amazon from £144 to a crazy £250.
I spent hours checking specs and details of many pico projectors and went for the PK102 because it's easy to connect to a PC with a dedicated VGA lead that comes with it, some projectors need adaptors and 2-3 leads to connect to a PC and some don't connect to a PC and only project what's stored from internal memory or memory cards/sticks.there are some videos about the PK102 on youtube.
73 monte carlo 500$ runs. got her today in stead of the 76 bike.
Now THAT looks like a project!! I've always had a soft spot for those old Montes. They are extremely versatile when it comes to motors, and LOTS of parts to choose from. Daily driver?

these guys. now i just have to figure out how to use them, (and how to hook the airbrush up to my compressor)
you should be able to get an airbrush adapter at any hardware store :D
like this

with one of these
http://www.harborfreight.com/10-ft-b...ose-95813.html
just make sure you have an in-line air dryer on your compressor
you don't want water in your paint :D
get one of these, it's similar to what I have on mine

If you're going to HF tomorrow pick one up there, and don't forget any fittings you'll need to hook it to your compressor
It takes the water out of your airline as it comes out of the compressor tank. When you compress air (to put it into the tank) it gets HOT. When it cools, you get condensation in the tank. As you use the air, some of that condensation comes out into your air tool, and if it's an airbrush it can clog the brush or ruin your paint job. they're cheap insurance :D
Nook Color with the gift money from my birthday.
Had to go through three of them to get one I was mostly content with. Dead pixels, loose bezel, and screen distortion when pressing on the screen made me return the first two. This one has a dead pixel in the corner, but I don't notice it as the menu bars are in the way. Least it isn't the center like the other ones.
Already running Android off a microSDHC card. Much more versatile that way. Have to pick up a faster memory card tomorrow if I feel like crawling out and dealing with stomach pain.
A Western Digital 2TB Caviar Green
My new kicks
Also purchased a Lian Li PC-9F, will get pics when it arrives :D
Nice shoes.
So wheres the LED strip lighting, Liquid sock cooling and 80mm shoe laces?
dx11 goodness
1120!!!!!! muahahahaha
i think it's just stock clocked at 900mhz though.
we'll see if i get the rebate back for it though. with it being on sale and the $30 rebate, the price ends up being only $150.
it was a big improvement over the 40 in the built in gpu, lol.
funny thing is, this video card weighs more than my evil red htpc.
8800GTS/X was a heavy heavy heavy card. almost 4 pounds hahahah.
they did the heatsink on the 5770's brilliantly. and its got a turbo turbo sport fan hahaha. but the rest of it is basically just cowling.
I also like the fact that the card has two possible exits for air.
1120 cores... man your going to tear a@# through any video game you play! Its sad to see that software is lagging behind hardware capabilities these days ( I blame consoles getting popular)
It used to be you get a game, and nothing on the planet can run that game good... now-a-days it seems even 2nd or 3rd generation cards can play todays games at about the highest settings possible.
Need to hurry up with the Xbox 540 and playstation 4 so i can finally make use of my DX11 features like tessellation and volumetric physics smoke. because ported DX9 games are pretty flippin' plain looking these days compared to the PC only titles with DX11 and full features.
Nice heatsink on that 5770. I guess they decided not to sink any of the memory or mosfets? That'd pretty much make full-coverage waterblocks unnecessary; just stick on a universal and you're covering everything that the original did. :D
Heheh, just wait...Skyrim is due out in a few months..
New Kicks :D
Sucker Punch FTW
