I still think it should've been an improved version of RA1 though... there weren't (m)any of the same units from before, although it _was_ creative, they could've just made a different game with those ideas, or added them and improved the original. You know how in class they go over the stories and explain it all? So, here's a screen shot, and a short description of the screen.
Please don't pay attention at the wallpaper...
Over on top, some icons that have their days numbered.
START button: It's the "small icon" version... Classic if I'm not mistaken.
The order of the stuff on the top of the list is because those things, I usually access with they keyboard rather quickly.
Just what works for me. :)

I like the look, but I do agree it needs a bit of 'tarting'.
Fair play for having a go.
And a suggestion: If you're using XP, you might wanna raise the HALO2 logo up by a few pixels (can't say offhand how many - trial and error usually works), so the taskbar doesn't hide it.
