strong enough.
yep thats wa' I thought
guys, i was looking over some offers an i come over this red LED 13000 mcd is this more that an red CCFL?
I'm thinking to use LEDs because they dont have that pink halo
(slug! help me)
well i see that some cathodes are rated at about 15000 mcd, just a little brigher than led's. still, dont let that discourage you.
i personally think leds are better because they last almost indefinitely, and have (what i would say) a cleaner colour.
cathodes suck a lot of energy too. leds dont.
so is this led thing a cluster of them or a single one? i would suggest getting single ones and sticking them all over the place inside the case so you can get an even amount of lighting. maybe even make some special mounts on the case for them.
bottom line: i say go for the leds. 4 or 5 should be enough to light everything pretty well.
so i was right
no cluster i'm gonna stick them al over the place so i dont get any shodows:D
4 or 5 you say (that should calm me down) I was thinking like 20 or 30
almost forgot they are 5mm not 3mm LEDs
ooouu oooouu must show you something (as soon as i get it uploaded)
4 or 5 SHOULD work. id get extras just to be safe though (maybe 10 to 15).
we are talking about super brights right? the super brights will definitely work with 4 or 5... regular ones... i dont know. i dont like the regular ones.
yes we are talking about super bright
the power thiing is a plus... thx
i made a list today of all the stuff a have to power and (hope you are seating down) it just hit me that i will have to use not 1 PSU not 2 PSUs but 3 PSUs
(what have i done.... its alive)
1 ATX psu for the hardware, one more ATX psu for the hans amd LEDs and a 24 volt psu for powering the servo
wow, three?
well i cant imagine that equating to more than 500W altogether, so three psu's just sounds like a lot.... but it isnt. i see what you're doing though... dedicated feeds for different devices.
yeah I just want to be on the safe side you know...
(bloody stupid conection)
well just finished the wood model
