Amazing result on the pump, very unique. The whole case looks awesome.
Very nice, the white makes it look super clean.
thx :D
today just a very short update....the plexi pieces for the top and side window are ready....and testwise mounted with doublesided adh. tape....
Sweet window :D.

:thumb:
yesterday we mounted the lower sidepanels.....now only a few details are missing or not in the right place....i think in the next days we can finish the most of those little time intensive parts...(new cable sleeving, leds, etc)
Heck yeah lookin sweet
:stupid:
Reason this comment is so long is it is a catch up of comments I would have said if I followed it from when you started :D.
Wow this worklog has so many excellent tips and ideas in your great worklog which I will check again and again.
That builders foam looks interesting especially what you turned it into, I am so constantly getting amazed when I look through worklogs here, there are many worklogs I have not seen yet here, I'm gonna try and browse through them thou sooner or later.
Impressive plexi work
I love the cpu cooler it is just flipping awesome
the mouse looks cool
another cpu cooler?, did it perform better than the other one I would have thought the other would have performed better, but oh well still great:up:.
the fan mods look cool
the custom DDC tops = unreal but real lol
hehehe agreed.Quote:
This mod kicks all sorts of ass. It's like Darth Vader commissioned you to build some art for the Deathstar.
At least, that's what it's lookin like to me
hehehe agreed.Quote:
You guys would have to be the kings of plexi, your work is top notch. The pump top is looking very nice.
when I got to page 20 or 21 after about 3 hours of looking and reading from start to there I have to say I'm a bit confused, did you scrap the front and side pictured in page 10, I mean it looks brilliant and very functional but very very different, am I wrong or have you really changed the mod to something quite a bit different or is the front you made to be still put on it, sorry for the questions I just feel I missed a turning point or something lol.
That side panel is way better than I remembered, nice work.
By the way I am not knocking it at all if I gave that impression  it is still fantastic for definate:up:.
Outstanding work 8).
no its not scraped but we will not use it anymore for this mod....after a hardware crash (mainboard burned down) we decided to remod the whole case....and the old front was to large for the new version....Quote:
did you scrap the front and side pictured in page 10
in the last days we closed the last free spots in the front with some plexiglas....
today just a short update...the outer body of the case is nearly finished...today we started the cover for the dvd drive so that it can get painted
and hopefully tomorrow we will end this mess (its inside our workshop:duh:)
Wow thats alot of dust lol cant wait to see this thing done. :)
like promised we assembled the main parts of the system today...only some covers inside, light and cablework is missing atm...but i think that will be done in the next days....
Looks good man!
today we started to paint the monitor for this system.....
beside that we add a bit of hexx mesh to the lower sidepanel....atm they are already white....but in the drying process so i think i can show you finished pics of the sidepanels tomorrow...
like promised...here are 2 new pics from the sidepanels
then we want to Thank Lumitronix for their support!!! Today a box full of Leds for this project arrived so that we could start to solder some led stripes....
very awesome mate looks great..
Nice LED modules, I was going to make up something similar but I was thinking of using UV surface mount LEDs for a very subtle UV glow.
today we made a first cover for the inside of the upper part of the case.....
today we integrated the first led stripes and here are the first pics of it....tomorrow we will finish this and hopefully made some final pictures....:D
You get a really nice lighting effect with those LED strips, very cool.
yeah mate /\ agreed.. looks fantastic
thx m8īs
in the last days we finished the last covers and LED Stripes for this case so that we could mount everything (but the covers are not 100% in their position, we have to correct that tomorrow)
Very very neat mate, very nice.
Featured Worklog! Congrats!!
Congratz mate.
/\ ditto :P
Congratulations! yay
WOW
and really really
THANK YOU
for the Feature!!!!!
last weekend we exhibit our Storm Project in itīs 2nd Revision on the Games Convention Online in Leipzig...together with the atomic cheese, Cosmos Dragon and Vibe Project. The Storm didnīt make it up to the final 3 but the Cosmos Dragon got the 3rd Place in the category Casemods and our Vibe the 2nd Place in the Category Casecons (which means custom build).
But here some new pics:
In the next weeks weīre going to change some details again :D but you will see:thumb:
Very nice! Excellent job. Too bad we couldn't see the original case (from page 10). Nice lines, great plexi and bondo work. And gratz on the placing on the Games Convention.
Dude that looks really really cool, excellent work.
thx m8īs!!!!!!
Today i want to send another big THANK YOU out to MSI for their really really amazing support!!!!
But let me explain, after our old mainboard burns down we take the one inside the case as emergency replacement. But after a bit of time we "forgot" to replace it, today we got a new one together with a nvidia 280gtx hydrojet which perfectly fits into our project so that we can finally replace the emergency board!!!!!
And as soon as the new RAM arrives i can show you pics of the new system :D
Congratz on the new mobo and graphics card, lucky you ;).
looking forward to it mate :)
