Man those lazer cut pieces are really awesome. I love the imprinting on the plexi. I can't wait until you have finished all this, it's pure win.
yeah i said that a few pages back :)
lookin good froop... fronts gunna look really awesome (like the rest of the case)
no guys its NOT a road sign, this sign is from an old furniture store which suffered from the ****ty economy, it had a small backery in it, which happens to was one of those my dad used to manage and supervise, he saw the signs, waited till no ones watching, then they where his signs.. you got the idea eh? ;)
Yup aquired supplies.
lol... nicely said :)
the bottom part is almost done
with the case
after that i disasembled the whole case to fit the led unit in, the result wasn as pleasing as i hoped :(
even worse in complete darkness
first coat of primer
then i made a cover for the harddrive drawer
then i started gluing the new front
and another coat of primer...
yeah
lookin good
That bottom compartment turned out awesomely, very nice work. I love how the tubes and the SATA cables will loop out of the back, just looks cool IMO cos most people would try to hide em.
oh thats gunna look sweet... gw froop
That is looking insanely cool Froop! I can't wait to see where you take this, awesome work so far!
Jon
That is some awesome work Froop. Can't wait to see the finished Master Piece.
yeah, im still alive (stiiiiiiiiill aliiiiiive)
and ive made a new cover for my modem and my router
then i started with the top section
its 15mm square aluminium, which isnt THAT cool to work with
everything will be held togehter by m4 screws
and some aluminium angles
right under the removable top/vent sits the dvd drive
Construction looks nice and solid, keep it up mate.
so i swapped out the 20y/o main shop light
with this one
then i finished the frame, added some angles to the dvd drive and made the sidecovers
yeah thats all
Still looking fantastic Froop, well done so far! Out of curiosity, where did you pick up that drive?
That new light really makes big difference. Nice start on the top module.
omg... this is gunna be cool... yeah thats right.. i said it again
thanks guys
i have done much last couple of days, but i havent made any progress shots :E
well, i started fabricating a POM T-Line for my new fillport ive made
sawed and milled kinda plain
drilling, tapping and sanding =)
this is the fillport, i know its big, but i wanted it big, so i can fill in the coolant easily :P
ill add a plexi top, some leds, and more stuff
and this is the new power connector for my sata hdds
glued and screwed the skeleton on the casetop
this is the most front part of the top, with a frame for the touch sensitive buttons
i hope i can work on the top somewhen this week
wow @ fillport dude xD
nice work on the rest! are you gonna bondo the joint between the top and the case?
looking good.. cant wait to see more
This project has certainly taken on a whole new level of creativity,
everything is perfect in my opinion. Really like the vents on the bottom,
the internal designs, and lighting. +Rep
That's a really interesting spin on a fill port, looks more like a res to me lol. Looking good tough, that "T" line turned out very well.
Awsome work froop!

fillport is done
w/o acr. cover
sanded the phobya holder
some bondo
halfway done
Fill Port does look very nice, I love the top cover, how did you make the circuitry stencil for the top cover?

i added an white LED to the delrin T-LINE
now the hose to the cpu cooler will glow in a cool blue
the same procedure for an angle part for the hose from the radiator, through the cover to the video card, cant wait to fill the loop xD
sanded everthing smooth and milled down the edges
meanwhile a package from london found its way to my home
CUSTOM PC <3
