No, the hard drives with the case cover is enough "structure" to maintain components
I just bought a new heatsink with enough clips to hold on to the broken socket.
Did you try glueing the broken bit of the socket back on to help?
I tried gorilla glue (Extremely strong stuff), but it broke off again when the heatsink went back on. The new heatsink won't need that bit to hold on
so for those who don't know, i asked TGS to send me hard drive covers. He sent them out, and today i got a box with no return address and it was covered in pentagrams...
and i knew exactly who it was from =D
