hey guys just a quick word that i havent got my motherboard back yet but hoping for it next week. i have done some small jobs on moditor. i am buying new switches soon and re doing andthin i have done half assed.. i have also planned one small case mod for my mother and have ordered the parts. when i get my motherboard back i shall update and try amaze you :) ill keep you posted

i have decided to re paint the psu holder.lil bit bad atm
i have decided to make a door for the front of the cd rom section.... possibly with the original piece or with a piece of aluminium plate.... i think plate but idk
also i am going to buy some more switches for the top... with a circle cut out not square so i can get them straight
and im gunna re do the switch plate also....

thats all i can think of so far

went in today... being week 5 and they said 4-6 weeks so 5th week.... oh it might be another month... -.- no happy...

Yeah IT Warehouse always say they will chase it up. That's why I never deal with them anymore. Took 3 months to get a fan replaced...A BLOODY FAN.

ok i painted the psu bracket

then cut this hole in the side for the graphics and mb cables.

i then marked out some more holes into the back for the hdd hider.... still working on that bit...

i also made this for my neighbor..

then bent and sanded it...

then i started work on the other psu brackets..

they are not done yet but are close..


then i cut 2 holes in the sides for the 92mm fans

i have sanded them but havent got pics.

So you finally got your mobo back ey? Nice update, the PSU bracket looks really good. You may wanna check your mobo manual to see if that RAM config is duel channel. You will notice the difference.

Nice mod to the G5. That's basically the reason I didn't get one, they look dog ugly lol. The original one looked cool but the revision is a bad design choice IMO. I love my CF G7, looks cool and it's wireless ;).

I think the mouse looked cool in the before shot, although it probably wasn't as comfortable in the hand.

I got a Xigmatek S1283 as well and I didn't notice much difference between that and the stock Intel cooler, only 4-5 degrees, not at all what reviews lead me to believe. I suspect though that since it was the first time installing a cpu cooler I buggered something up like putting on a little too much thermal compound. That and currently my case has bugger all airflow. Sometime in the future I'll rectify that with some nice Noctua fans and maybe the X-plate for the cooler. I don't like the look of those pushpins. But it works for now and my computer hasn't caught fire so I guess I got it mostly right.

And good call on replacing the stock fan on it, it does sweet FA. Looks pretty though.
