Re: Water Alien Rebirth - From Brazil
Case feet repair and internal side panel painting:
During the texturing I let some body filler escape to the plexi-glass and, now, had to repair it:
First, I removed the excess of body filler with the Dremel sander:
Finished one:
Got this:
Sanded one by one with 150 paper to remove every body filler traces:
Used the polishing Dremel bit with silicone to smooth the border and get a nice shiny:
In action:
This is the result of polishing:
Then I painted the scratched areas using the same colors:
Ochre:
Repair done:
All the feet painted and waiting for the titanium white with a dry paint.
Final result:
The ET side panel interior was a mess of colors, so, I decided to paint it in chrome to help the illumination:
This is the result (really shiny, mirror finishing):
That痴 it for now. Be back soon.
See you,
Pedro Torres.

hey petro,
one question,
youve painted the side panel in chrome look, but the rest of the interior is bright yellow, isnt it? do leave that, or will it be shiny 8)

When I finish this 2nd fase will start a 3rd fase and maybe I should change the interior painting to chrome too, but, this time I'll leave this UV yellow.
After painting the side panel in chrome I confess to be inclined to paint everything the same way, but, I'll decide it in 3rd fase.
Thank's for asking,
Pedro Torres.

The UV yellow inside will remains, I just painted the side windows in chrome to improve ilummination. I won a pair of ACRyan CC UV from performance-pcs.com and it will be a nice update to lightings stuff.

The cable sleeving helps a lot the air flow. It's a good idea to do the same on your next PC.
See you soon with more sleeves and cable management.

Thanks psychowit, acctualy I'll repaint this front panel, but, the final result will not change too much of this sample. The glitter bottle came defective and do not spray constantly and let some areas with more glitter than others.
The result is incredible, I couldn't belive the shinny. My digi cam can't take all the bright of this glitter, but, it's amazing.

Thank you for your support Eclecticos, the front panel turns out really nice. But I'll redo the work to achieve a better finished work.

Thanks to all of you who visit this thread and post your coments !
I've taken some others pics to show the shinny of the front panel, but I couldn't with my digi cam. I promess to figure out how to do that soon and bring better photos:
I did my best to capture the shinny of the glitter unsuccessfull, but I did a smal video to show it.
Hope you like it, soon I'll be back with more news about the mounting process.
Thanks for your support and everything,
