Sometimes and sometimes not... EDIT: B4i7 is spot on (and I could have gotten to the end of this thread before spending 15 minute google-fu time on my research lol)
On the album Thirteenth step (rel 2003) it is the 10th track, named "Pet" and 4m34s long

On the Album EMOTIVe (rel 2004) it is the 10th track, named "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rythym of a War Drum" and 5m36s long

You're both correct. How nice is that?
:)
EDIT2: having never knowingly heard this song or anything by A Perfect Circle, I am intrigued by the second title as to if I would like their music ... and wondering what the extra minute and two seconds on the EMOTIVe version consists of. Officionado explanation welcome :) EDIT3: google-fu not entirely wasted .. they're not the exactly the same :)
np: mc chris - Omc "Dungeon Master of Ceremonies"
in the man's song title himself:

np: mc chris - robotussin "Life's A Bitch And I'm Her Pimp"
After watching a trailer for Across The Universe, I am now listening to Hey Jude.
I'd definitely check out A Perfect Circle especially if you like bands like Tool or basically any other band that Maynard James Keanan (spelling) has had anything to do with. Personally the guitar sound is what does it for me is just, well, 'perfect'! Ones I'd recommend most would be Magdalena from Mer de Noms and their cover of Imagine off eMOTIVe.
As for what I'm listening to it's Shine on you Crazy Diamond - Pink Floyd :)
Thanks for the heads up ... at risk of demonstrating my near total lack of musical knowledge in certain genre's ... never knowingly listened to Tool ... and never heard of the bloke :D
Floyd ... on the other hand ... when I was 9 years old my eldest brother caught me sneaking into his room and playing his copy of Dark Side of the Moon one time too many and clumped me around a bit .. so I saved my pocket money up and bought my own copy.
By the time I was thirteen I owned that and
Wish You Were Here
Atom Heart Mother
The Piper at The Gates of Dawn
Animals
Obscured by Clouds
Ummagumma
Meddle
Relics
and, A Saucer Full of Secrets
Which was my ENTIRE music collection ...
and Shine On You Crazy Diamond was, is and always has been, imo, their most amazing track so ... damn you for mentioning it (i.e +rep) ... looks like I'm going shopping for a new copy of Wish You Were Here later today :D
