(If it was addressed toward me) Thanks, not bad for a $30 case after rebates. Pretty light, too, and 5x 5.25" bays.
The Thunderbird. This is the kind of computer cockroaches will be using after the nuclear holocaust, undoubtably hooked up to similar 17" CRTs (my mother's borrowing it, or else it'd be second fiddle on the right 21" in here):
Well, assuming the cockroaches could even turn it on - there is no power button. You have to stick one end of a piece of wire in Pin 4 of the old AT keyboard connector on the front, and short the other end to the metal around the port. The reset button, at least, works normally, I think - I don't remember if I bothered to hook it up.
All in all, even without the door, I reckon that case was a good trade for the dented, half-there InWin S500 I had sitting downstairs. :D

Re: Post Your Computer(s) Configuration/specs
Oh I see, doesn't the motherboard support 8GB, if it does and XP doesn't it's a waste of cash or you could upgrade to Vista to fully utilize it.
Re: Post Your Computer(s) Configuration/specs
people forget to remove their backup hard drive ram when they have four gigs. Thats probably why xp doesn't see the last 512

Re: Post Your Computer(s) Configuration/specs
I think he's talking about the Page File.
And if you want pics click the link to my project in my sig.
Re: Post Your Computer(s) Configuration/specs
That still doesn't change the fact that 8GB isn't worth it if XP can only take 4GB, or am I mis-informed?
Re: Post Your Computer(s) Configuration/specs
it can only take 3.5, if you wait a couple of weeks my 4 gb's of ram will be here and i will tell you how much windows xp home will see.
