Project: Animus

Thats great news, awesome. Can't wait for the pics.

So here's some pics of the beast at work. I'll have benchmark stats up soon.

So, I was told the Ruby Orb is huge, and I was not lied to. I can't even fit this thing inside until everything else is already put in, it's too big to go in on the motherboard tray.

Temps are staying good, and a few games are installing now: Unreal Tournament 3, Supreme Commander, and Crysis.

I've got this trimmed and ready for the gallery, but I highly recommend adding some final pics. At the end of any good worklog should be a series of high quality, high res, pics that show the work in it's entirety. I would recommend moving the PC to a draped area to keep from having any background clutter and taking some nice photos to cap this baby off. If you would rather it go in as it is, that's fine, just let me know.

Very nice work. I love the whole red theme. Like jdbnsn said it would be great to see some complete final showcase pics.

Actually, yeah I was planning on taking it to my mom's later today and she's got a sick camera setup so I'll get pics there to finish it off. Thanks for the kind words guys.

And Animus is complete, finished the case handles today with a quick trip to the shop. The handles are sturdy, infact I can hold the whole case up with just 1 (though I don't recomend doing it for long if you value your shoulder). Overall, I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.
