Re: Anyone miss the stylus?
They don't even work with today's touch screens.
If you wanna message, get a keyboard. Touch screens suck.

Ya I know, hence why I hate capacitive touch screens ;)
Just ever doing typing is a pain in the ass though. Trying to just go to a website sometimes is a nightmare.
Re: Anyone miss the stylus?
Oh, I hate touch screens! I mourn the passing of the stylus. I had a touch screen and abandoned it for an HTC Ozone.
Re: Anyone miss the stylus?
I have a stylus that works on capacitive touch screen... I hate it, it's so fat compared to my old stylus on my phones. But I also also have a thumb keyboard.
Re: Anyone miss the stylus?
You guys are wearing rose-tinted glasses. The stylus was awkward to use and a pain in the ass. No-one would write with a pen and paper the way you were expected to use the stylus.
Touch screen is a pain in the ass; it's a lot less accurate than stylus or buttons, but you can use it with one hand if you want to. You get a bigger screen, and the phone can be made more robust if it has less moving parts (like buttons or slide-out keyboards). You also won't lose the stylus. Having used both, I'd have to say I prefer the slide out keyboard to either.

Re: Anyone miss the stylus?
Xperia X1? I have it.
Slideout KB, resistive touch with stylus, and (since it's apparently a big deal thanks to Apple) a 300dpi screen.
Only problem is WinMo... Which I like, but since everyone seems to hate it nevermind. lol
The KB (and phone itself) is starting to fall apart. Keys are unresponsive, Idrop it a lot, and WinMo 6.1 seems to be a bottle neck anymore.
Re: Anyone miss the stylus?
Sounds like someone hasn't found swype - or it isn't compatible with their phone.
Swype has improved my quality of life.
Re: Anyone miss the stylus?
Oh and as for styluses, i feel sick when I think how many I lost when I worked for Sony Ericsson
Re: Anyone miss the stylus?
i like touch screens to a point... But i love my keyboard more... Waiting for the droid 2 to be released before i upgrade... Full keyboard/touch screen combo FTW!
