hi every time i go to log in it says my username/password is incorrect and i need to get a new email sent to me. Is that normal?
Ive been looking for this info for a few days now. Work'd like a dream.

I'm having some difficulty logging in at times but I don't think it has to do with the cookies.
What happens is I type in my name and password and it goes to that transition screen like normal that says "Thank-you for logging in Redunant". Then when it goes to the forum homepage it says i'm not logged in! So I have to click back to the transition screen and click the continue link to log in. Sometimes I have to click back multiple times to click continue until it logs me in. If its any help, I'm using IE7 though I think this happened also when using FireFox.
There's 2 possible reasons:
1) The cookie is not being created, which is most likely. Add TBCS to your trusted sites list.
2) The session isn't being created for you specifically. Possible, but unlikely.
There's an obscure 3rd option that you're sharing an IP that we've banned, but again, very unlikely. I don't have the time to look into it at the moment but if you follow up in a few days and tell me if the problem's still there I'll take a good look at the site settings, and try and fix it.

I added TBCS to my trusted list to no avail. It's not that big of a problem, I'll just click the continue button on the transition page.
Also, I'm installing FireFox now so I'll see if that fixes it later.
EDIT: In FireFox the problem doesn't occur.
I use firefox. . Im having to hold down the left mouse button to type in my password. . was driving me crazy. . I reset the password like 8 times. .
The problem seems to be with the check box "value= align="
It auto checks the Remember me? Check Box. . It has never remembered me. . .:( :mad:
The vBulletin Login gives me no problems. .
I dunno problem my be on my end. .

Haven't tried the tab button. . duhhh. . will try that next time.
This problem has been around...for a long time. It's a minor issue that we have a fix in the works for. :)

It does not ask me to log in and I'm using IE6.

Logged in and typed this post using Opera. Can't say that their is anything funny so far, seems to work just like FireFox.Quote:

But if that does not work, it's okay, because if I login, I'm logged in, and I can just access my CP by clicking my 'new PM's' thingy at the top of the board.
I don't know if you fied the login problems or if they are just working on a fluke...but, if you fixed 'em, thanks! I logged in with no problems, my CP worked out nicely, and the check box for 'remember me' wasn't freaking out. It didn't try and redirect me tohe login screen again either.

it's not really a login/posting trouble but i'm just wondering why the site says that i'm online all the time? if i'm logged off and i look to see who is online it shows me as online. is it because i tell it to remember me on another computer and its remembering my ip or something?
