Re: rugged, rusty, scratched, like new...
No bullet hole decals! Think of a way to simulate a real bullet hole, like shooting it. Check out THIS He does a good job of making it look old.

Simulate
to make a pretense of; feign
pretend, counterfeit.
You'll need to shoot it with a pretend gun then! :bunny:
LOL!

Re: rugged, rusty, scratched, like new...
another question: will the paints that slamaA (or how ever you spell that) used work on plastic as well as metal?

Re: rugged, rusty, scratched, like new...

wait so i have to put that iron paint on even when i have my green paint on? or will it work over my green spray paint that i have used?

Re: rugged, rusty, scratched, like new...
i believe that rust stuff is applied to any surface in 2 coats. one is a iron rich paint i
m assuming and then apply the rust reaction paint over it and it rusts.

but then isn't the iron rich paint covering the green paint?? (i want my green case to stay green, i just want it to look rusty on the corners and down the sides)

Re: rugged, rusty, scratched, like new...
oh sorry, for that paint you only apply it to the places you want affected. so either carefully apply the paint or tape off what you don't want and you don't have to be as careful. i'm pretty sure its only painted on with a brush and not a can so it will make it alot easier.

Re: rugged, rusty, scratched, like new...
Personally, if I wanted bullet holes I'd shoot the case with a .22... Can't beat the real thing for realism.
