You know what I hate?!?

This is a little game my two fellow soldiers in our ongoing battle against evolution play here at work, and I thought I would see what our members have to add. Just start with the title line and let us know what little things really get under your skin, no matter how petty.

It's my game so I'll start, with one of the best and most universal answers my cohorts have given.

You know what I hate??

Anything designed by someone who will never have to use it.


Another favorite: When I tell my DVD player to fast forward past the copyright warning and it TELLS ME NO! My VCR never did that. When I told it to fast forward, it did it. Every time.

People that tell me to be silent in cinemas when the movie is really bad and everyone else is talking.

People who act like the world should revolve around them.

People who go to church... and then blame their god for everything going bad in their life.

I really hate whiners...

and hypocrites...

and irony...

My social studies teacher.

i hate arragont people, mainly becuase no one is perfect!, we all make mistakes and people that can't accept that and think there perfect in everyway annoy the hell out of me

A few things I'll leave unnamed,

Human stupidity,

When crap doesn't work, lol... I don't mind fixing it, I just like having functional crap,

Etc. etc. etc. :D

Stupid people. That's where all my hate stems from.

I hate when they run the same commercial 2 or 3 times in a row.

I use to hate when my english teacher would call her computer the CPU

Oh yeah! Everyone else here probably agrees with me when I say this too, but I always hated computer courses... especially the ones they made everyone take, and they'd get all the terminology wrong and act like you're an idiot when you attempt to correct them.

This one really pisses me off, when people say "Mac and PC"


For the last time people, PC means personal computer! Macs are PC's too!

Fanboys. Flavor of the month. I've always referred to such as 'Here today, gone later today'.

Metallica has been getting on my nerves lately too. Seriously, making everyone at their management drop and give them 20? Granted, this whole ploy was nothing more than an scheme to generate interest in their next album (which I wouldn't buy anyway), but please...

They should have thrown in the towel as Metallica a long time ago.

I did this to my Comp Tech teacher. She was pissed.

I hate idiot drivers who are selfish on the road.
Either do the speed limit/keep up with traffic or get out of the fast lane.

I beg to differ, getting all this hate out is a very positive thing, PLUS we get to realize that we are not alone in a lot of them.

ignorance irks me. What irks me harder is the unwillingness to learn. I pretty much just give up on those people before I end up tearing mine/their/the dog's hair out.

I wouldn't tear out my dog's fur, by the way. I love him too much.

I hate it when I just can't find a good picture on google with decent resolution !

You know what grinds my gears? Hearing little kids scream their heads off in stores or at restaurants and radio commercials that repeat their phone number three times in a row at the very end of the commercial. That really grinds my gears.

Hahaha, Peter Griffen at you service. I See Mitternacht is a Family Guy fan.

My dad, right now, is grinding my gears pretty bad. I work and he still wont let me go to the fair :(

Kinda personal, but I hate being stuck in this body with a bar in my chest. I hate not being able to do things normal people can do. The fact that I was a martial artist/athlete and now can hardly sleep without pain, nonetheless walking/running/basketball/all the things I loved and yet took for granted.

But I love the fact that I am here, and have the ability to get past all this and someday do those things once again. So it balances out.

So I guess I hate my own impatience.




On a lighter note: I hate Boston drivers.

People with bad spelling /grammar online. It makes it seem like you could care less and people on the net aren't important enough to see a properly spelled sentence.

I hate the comedians on Last Comic Standing that for some reason feel that they need to keep doing their act after their spot has finished. That pisses me off so much when they are in that little booth thing talking to the camera, and still acting like retards, thinking they're "unique" for doing so, but really they're just annoying. Same goes for the Comedians that don't make it, but still feel the need to stay in character as they leave the stage and exit the building.

Drivers who can't drive for s**t when it rains.
People that always ask "Can you fix my computer?" instead of taking care of it, and trying to not get virus' and other bad things.
The thought that parental household will have dial up soon.
The thought that gas will become $5 per gallon really soon.
and some other stuff. lol

i hate the people who cant take the burden on their shoulders, and always pass on the guilt. people who cant stand up for them self

and i hate hate hate über christian people who blames EVERYTHING on god.
we had one in our shop once who blamed everything wrong he did on god, when he broke his car, it was gods punishment for driving to fast, when he messed up an order "how should he know" when he did something wrong "there were a higher meaning with it"

he was fired shortly after. i pitty him, such people will have a hard time later in life. and the sad thing is that in most cases its the parrents. bad parrents that let their kids do whatever they want.
if there is one thing in this world that should be exterminated, it is bad parrents... not only do they **** up their own life, but they mess up another one to, and that one could mess up another one.. its one bad cirkel

and the thing i dispite more than anything; bad friends. friends that you trust and they just screw you eventually.


BUT! on the positive side:P there is way to many things i like to write em all down! it would take ages! if not lifetimes

I got to go on a nice rant spree yesterday and made it as funny as possible and I feel much better. Bottling up stuff inside doesn't help whatsoever. So long as nothing gets out of hand, this is a potentially good thread. Key words: doesn't get out of hand. :P

Ok, so I do have SOME compassion. For children. Just about anything or anyone else is on their own, but children are something else entirely.

In my defense, I expect no compassion either. And I would rather someone hate me with a passion that makes their blood boil than to forget me. Obviously it would be better if they liked me, but to be forgotten is never to have been at all. At least if someone hates me, when I am gone some part of me remains.

Back in the spirit of the thread, I hate people who act helpless. Not the ones who actually ARE helpless, just the ones who are too lazy to help themselves. Nope, no compassion for them either. (That probably stems from my job...)
