Summer wouldn't be the best time for an air-cooled record. Haha

Why would it not be the best time for a record attempt? Some of us leave the AC on 24-7 and keep our homes 65 year round. It was 102 here yesterday and the inside of my home was about 67f.Quote:

I managed ~4.75 already on air in my first couple of attempts.
Bit-tech has been beaten! I just ran a stable bench mark at 4739Mhz. Bit-tech's highest was 4715 and that was on water!

Well we hit 4.8 on Air and that was our highest of the day. Trace did boot into windows at 5.0 but it would not go stable under cinebench. So we are going to get a different motherboard and try again!
4.8, where's that stand record wise?

We will be attempting this again. Not releasing full details yet, but in about 2 weeks, we will have a 2 day overclocking event!

After looking at THIS, I think you should definitely go for some LN2 pots if possible. Granted, he found one without a cold bug, but clocks anywhere close to his would be pretty epic.
