95 civic (only half ricey)

so i recently bought a 95 honda civic coupe... insanely good deal..... 500 cash plus a $200 netbook... came with a front lip.. projector headlights and foglights,
lowering springs all around and 15 inch aluminum 5 star rims

and it also came with a spare D series ZC motor, a B18 non vtec and a SIR VTEC head can we say Frankenstein?

i just finished making my new stereo mount....

that white plastic is a chunk i cut outa of the side of a 360 lol
the plan is to fill it with expanding foam..... shave it down so the screen is flush then bonda and paint it black.... along with most of dash parts i cant find in black within the next couple of months

So.... what's wrong with it? lol

lol the list goes on... new bushings.... needs an alignment and the rear end needs a bit of body work
interior carpets r trashed
wiring inside was trashed...
the original deck was a cheapo... and the wiring altho it was soldered... they decided to solder the 12v switched and 12v battery line together.... so the stereo never turned off and the foglights were wired in the retarded way that left a little light on the dash on all the time... wether or not the car was off... nor the lights..

the disc brakes trailin arms and other assorted bits came from a GSR tegra

Just did what? Sandblasted your rims?

I'm saving that rim photo for my collection of weathering effects for paint.

Just finished brakes? Not sure what we are looking at there.. :)

All in all, a fine purchase for the price!

and this is why im workin on my brakes and suspension first... so i can dodge those crazy gas guzzling american monstrosities... and now for the stinger... it costs me 35 bucks CAD to fill my tank.... how much does it cost to fill ur exploder? 33-41 mpg here lol


i honestly plan to get a pack of cards... try to shove them in around the rim soon, sand it down and rattle can them flat black...

i still have a few things i wish to do b4 winter

1. change out all susp bushing for much harder bushings
2. replace all 4 shocks/struts with adjustable ones
3. install SI front lower control arms and sway bar
4. get 1 more matching steel wheel for my set of 14 inch winters
5. find GSR proportioning valves

i too have a crappy explorer, i average 15.8mpg according to the console. i hate the thing though.

I like this list! I think it's cool that we have people who love case modding here as much as they like modding their cars. Your car looks good man, pretty clean really.

You going with polyurethane bushings? Some places offer not only those for your suspension, but also a kit that offers them for the entire car. You might look for "Energy Suspension" as usually they sell kits for anywhere from $100-200. Then you've got motor mounts, suspension, etc all taken care of.

i would just like to officially say im not one of those farts canners that think a type R sticker adds 15 HP..... i think body kits and neon lights just weigh your car down....
and i would much rather ppl think my car is quiet and stock..... so dont run me ova!



and if i can find a nice set of replacement front fenders i will be gettin rid of those ricey bmw slots..

But if you paint your windshield wiper arms, door handles and air vents bright yellow it makes the car go much faster.

Case in point:

already have the lip.... im also waiting to find some cheap lower profile tires for my rims so i can slam it down like that.... i plan to have the rims eventually powder coated gun mental with black lip.... for now i plan to paint them flat black and have a red lip... all with a rattle can a newspaper and a pack of cards


side note... thats a 4dr which has different bumpers than us coupes... i have a 2 door DX with a Mugen lip and Si jdm style yellow fog lights
