Your room/work area/computer setup
I'm sure something similar has been posted, but this is my own version.
I realized how young we all are while reading the "how old are you" thread. So, post your college room or just your computer setup.
I'll start. Here's my room in my apt. The pics go from left to right.

Re: Your room/work area/computer setup
my pics need to be updated, but here goes
taken from another forum so forgive all refrences to it's members:
"i heard that exact one you got was crap. i heard this while looking at cases on newegg. isn't it a X-finity or some crap like that?
My Room:
My desk. it makes up most of my room. as you can see, on the left is my CD caddy, a cup of ramen (with chopstick on it!), some changeand my cellphone. some other crap on the left too. on my moniter is my desktop, and coving the chich's face is a chat window with makil. in front of my moniter are two nissan skylines, one's a RC car and the other's a model. behind my moniter i have my speakers. on the right of my desk is a RX-8 car model, dishes, and my keychain (Megatokyo, woot. also my webcam and my Practical C++ book. under is my computer, with it's 70$ case (i've got SD beat there) =]
Picture of some of my posters. the big one is a porsche ad, but you can't see it. then there's the super street NSX, also my ford logo (off of my mom's truck, it's debadged), and my knife.
My bed. as you can tell, it's not made. also, a slight bit of the posters on the opposite wall.
opposite side of my room from my desk. the large brown thing has my bass inside it, the posters have the following: Acura RSX drawing, Honda Civic, Mazda Protoge, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8, Infiniti G35. in the closet sit many things, but mainly clothes. also some old computer parts and parts i can't use (bigfoot hard drives, SATA cables).
a picture of me. that's about how tall i am compared to my desk. i am leaning back so i'm about 5' in that pic, and my desk is still pretty short. also, fear the sound blaster shirt."

Re: Your room/work area/computer setup
I'd post mine, but I'd hate to shatter the illusion I'm sure you all have of me sitting in an immaculately scrubbed workshop upon my throne made of the skulls of the vanquished.

Re: Your room/work area/computer setup
I'm actually very excited to say that I will finally be moving into a new place by August.
Finally! As soon as we move, we'll be remodelling the garage that is there into a useable workspace, and then building a house on the lot. We're putting a small single-wide on the property for cheap, because we have to move by August for a number of reasons. I'll have an office and a place to work on mods again, at long last.

Re: Your room/work area/computer setup
Top of my desk
Bottom of my desk
As you can see, my custom built desk is a work of art. my pro printer on the top causes my desk to wabble when printing in fast mode. Also my mini bottle of wiskey is up there, its the family wiskey.
Then futher down you see my REALLLLLLY old power block, its really good though, each socket has itsd own fuse. Then my lovely NEC 15" TFT, along with my 50W RMS Speakers,
My nice microsoft keyboard and logitec trackerball.
you will also notice garfield, he's my lucky charm, when i do any mod he's always there supervising me. My nice crazy mug,
Then at the bottom, you see my sub, covered in paperwork, and beside it more paperwork, then my nice PC, Strangly this PC hasn't had any physical mods, there all software mods i have sone, created software to do stuff for me, i also created themes and wallpapers that suit me.
Anyway, this is all going to be replaced after Xmas anyway.

Re: Your room/work area/computer setup
Xmas, that's not your rig. If you're moving house...you'd never move that.
Modus Tollens:
You can't move that stuff.
You're moving house.
Therefore that stuff is not yours.
Ha! Bow before my powerful logical inference and latin names! Mwahahaha!

I think you gotta refresh the page or something like that, it still shows the image you were viewing the first time you posted the image.

Re: Your room/work area/computer setup
Here is my NZXT premod case. I'm still working on some stuff, but the cable management sure looks nice now.
-
Re: Your room/work area/computer setup
WTF is that cooling on your system? Looks like a jet engine
-
Re: Your room/work area/computer setup
Cables? What cables? I don't see any :D
HAHHAHA nice cable management tell me how you did it.
-
Re: Your room/work area/computer setup
The cooler is the Thermaltake Bug. It's pretty good.
I used my dremel to cut holes in the mobo mount. All the cables are now in between that and the right case cover. I also rounded the cables for my X-Fi Platinum.
