The drive had a write-protect switch, which I never use so I cut it off and hard wired the switch, just in case I ended up with a read-only sorefingerdrive.
I suspect it's going to take some time for that sealant to dry... I could have used epoxy, but I wanted it to be a little squishy when it was done.
LOL! That's awesome. +rep
Sweet! +rep
Thats awsome! It made me think of a whole gory case mod of injured body parts. Would be great for Horror fans lol.

Starting with a barebones case?
Actually, that finger was hard to find. For a while I toyed with the idea of using a bone instead.
I have some words for you.
TheGreatSatan's Project: "Paradise Lost". He used a fake legbone as a handle, and even put a sawblade on the case.
Great simple project. It is simple projects like this that inspire me.
Maybe this could be the next big thing in modding, "thumb drive stealthing". Making usb thumb drives look like something else.
Well, if I had enough thumbdrives, I would. I already have a wooden one.
yeah i did a stelth drive too but it wasnt stealth it was duct taped, broke one on my first try at opening the case up though
lol nice lightup finger
I love how the fingernail glows. LOL!
That would look sweet in my car radio (has a thumb drive Hookup)
That's awesome, you should use the rest of the finger for a cap.
thats pretty sweet. You could try and paint the silicone red to simulate blood or something... +Rep
