performance wise I suggest you get gtx 260 if your planning to replace a 8800gs

As much as I like my 260's, they're not a cost-effective solution anymore. You can get a 460 for the same price or less, and it will massively outperform a 260.
Ya I'm still waiting to get a good deal on a 460. Been looking at Newegg pretty much daily.
Just don't buy any cards from BFG as they have stopped producing/selling graphics cards, not surprisingly I have recently seen some quite good deals on BFG cards but I don't know what would happen if you had problems with one?
I'll most likely get an EVGA
i don't know if this thread is still active, but.... just fyi 460 se EVGA http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...dex-_-14130591 is 99.99 after 40 dollar rebate! best part is, if you register it, it has a 2 year limited warranty!
Thanks bud I did see that today. I was going back and forth between the 460 SE and the 460. After doing about an hour of reading I bought the GTX 460 B-Stock from EVGA. I've heard lots of good things about the B-Stock so I'll take my chance. Was only $90 but is far better than the SE. Thanks again for looking out!
