to bad we could not get the fan work (zalmans on your graphics) but still i think you should try and fix the cooler cause iff you can mod a case like that you can mod the fan as well.
remember to reverse the Fan @the bottom and put an extra in top
and thats about it your case is the best i've ever seen and i do like old army stuff so make's it perfect for me gonna try and send some details to a dutch computer magazine here and see iff they want to post some pictures and maybe a small article of you and the case
for now hope to see you in the near future maybe @I31 in summer iff all goes well
greetings From your kidnapper {BA} GoldRush AKA the wierd dutch freak
Thanks GoldRush!
Also thanks for giving me so much help and encouragement at the i29 LAN. It was a real pleasure to meet you. As for your mod.....keep scanning ebay and those ex-army equipment sales! I'm sure you'll do an excellent job.
Cheers!
Ouch!

Thanks for your feedback!
Keep an eye on ebay for old oscilloscopes and you'll see you can pick them up pretty cheap.
The postage is the thing, as they weigh a ton!
My oscilloscope cost me £17 plus £15 postage!
Good luck!
Ouch!
Re: The Interocitor - My First Mod
Okay, I have just signed up for i30!
The Interocitor will be there!
Come on you guys and bring your modded boxes to the LAN!
It's over the whole Easter weekend at Newbury Race Course and if you book before 24th December it's only £60 for a whole weekend's gaming.
see www.multiplay.co.uk and click on the i30 link.
I'd love to see more modders attending as I need some inspiration for my next project.
Also, I am trying to get them to have a small competition for modders at future events so we need to show some interest.
Ouch!:)
Re: The Interocitor - My First Mod
dude, this has mucho potential, if you could some how integrata front panel port and some thermometers, and fan speed dials into the front ocilloscope dials, that would be freaking nice
Re: The Interocitor - My First Mod
i have been wanting someone to do one of those for years, and you finally did
it looks gorgeous, but, that fan with the red words on it didnt match at all
Re: The Interocitor - My First Mod
Intergalacticman, you've made 6 posts: 2 of which are doubles, an additional one describing someone else's hard work as "kinda lame". Cut it out or you'll be the proud owner of the fastest ban ever award.

You could be right about the fan not matching, but the project is supposed to be a sort of confusing mixture of technologies......It's supposed to be a modern computer masquerading as a weird sci-fi communications device from the 1950's or 1960's. The wiring is deliberately left on show and it is supposed to be unique.
Anyway, I have had really brilliant news!
The Interocitor will feature in an upcoming issue of Custom PC Magazine in their Readers Drives section....so you can find out more there!
Woo-Hoo!
Ouch! :)
