Re: LCD Pinout to S-video
The Venturer PVS1961 Has an existing RCA Video Input. All you need is a cable.
Simply purchase a RCA/S-Video Adapter. . Or a Din/S-Video Adapter.

So the fact that it is a 9 pin S-video jack while the standard S-video jack is only 4 pin doesn't set off any alarms as far as incompatibility issues?
The LCD schematic shows 1-4 pins as:
1. video
2. video ground
3. remote
4. left audio in
While the standard S-video pinout is:
1. GND Ground (Y)
2. GND Ground (C)
3. Y Intensity (Luminance)
4. C Colour (Chrominance)
I haven't plugged a live regular S-video cable into it yet for fear of damaging the driver board. I have the entire system, so I can hack the existing cable if needed.
Also, why to an RCA jack? Is there a special video card that I'm unaware of that uses only RCA jacks?
I ask since I will have to buy a seperate PCI Express video card to drive the LCD screen and all the ones I have found use DVI, HDMI, or D-Sub.
Thanks for replying!! This really helps me...
