Re: Project: PrometheusCu
@The boy 4rm oz - Thanks mate. The devil is in the details.
@DonT-FeaR - Thanks.
@Mach - I managed to find a eBay source for a great price too - it is a fabric mesh but it bloody well looks the part regardless (plus it weighs much less than a true copper weave). I'll fire you off a PM with the source. And THANKS again for the copper sleeve - it's pimp.
Re: Project: PrometheusCu
No worries, let me know if you need more.
Definitely shoot me a PM on the supplier
Re: Project: PrometheusCu

@SXRguyinMA's - Thank you very much, there is much much more to come... lots of cool **** that has yet to be revealed in it's entirety.
Re: Project: PrometheusCu
SOME RELEVANT NEWS!
I've got Watercool Germany on-board now. They've generously offered to provide some waterblocks from their new 'Heatkiller' V3.0 lineup coming at the end of October. With this addition I'll be removing the D-Tek Fuzion and perhaps cooling the motherboard as well.... which calls for another Aquastream XT pump IMO.
I'm very very excited about this - I have to give some credit to ModSquad as I've never heard of the Watercool Heatkiller before he posted the image of one of their blocks in his CopperHead mod. Suffice to say I fell in love and had to have them.
For those of you not familiar with the HeatKiller blocks, here's a tase:
More to come, thanks for reading.
Re: Project: PrometheusCu
theese blocks will fit your theme 2tm!
Re: Project: PrometheusCu
They are some seriously sexy and well crafted blocks, they look the part and they cool very well. Congratz on the new sponsor.
Re: Project: PrometheusCu
Congratz man. Cant wait to see the finished product. Those blocks by the way or beautiful becasue they are so simple. Nice clean lines. After you get it built definatly want to know how well those blocks work.
Re: Project: PrometheusCu
Hey been reading your project, its amazing ive never seen anything like it great work, one thing with the last picture above of the motherboard you have all the waterblocks in place the one closest to the pci-express slots seems a bit worrying if you have tubes out of there the gtx -280s wouldnt seem to fit. Just a observation you might find a way round it :D
cheers
Re: Project: PrometheusCu
That isn't a pic he took. That is a reference pic from the manufacturer web site show casing all of their blocks. A GTX280 would fit due to the PCB being in line with the center of the PCI slot. The mosfets ads such would be on a seperate loop anyway to keep temps down so the tubing wouldn't really interfere with the GPU.
