Re: Metropolis RED mod (title changed)
Very very nice! Everything looks great so far, it's starting to really come together. Maybe I missed something, but did you get those pieces polished professionally somewhere? And if you did it/if you know, how where they polished? That's truly an amazing finish.
EDIT: That was the fastest reply in history, I think. I replied like 2 seconds after he posted... literally.

I did get them polished professionally. waited 3 weeks for them to be done. They were first cleaned and buffed, then run through a glass blaster to get the sheen started. The high polish was good old fashioned elbow grease (with a power buffer) and a metal polishing compound. A little patience and the aluminum polishes up to a mirror finish.
I was so excited when I finally saw the results, I was skeptical at first.

Wow man.
Wait, that just doesn't cut it...
WWWWOOOOOOWWWW is probably closer to the bone. Those parts are like mirrors. Hurry up and finish this, i can't wait to see how it turns out. Sorry about the leaks in the watercooling, but hey, it could have been much worse. Can you get a photo of the radiator at the back when it's hooked up?
Words actually fail me here. That finish is so nice, words just ain't enough. 2 thumbs up and as many gold stars as you can handle. :D

Re: Metropolis RED mod (title changed)
Thanks Dave. I spent the night tonight testing electrical components. I'm having trouble getting all 3 fans to run at full speed. I think mire 22g wires can't push through enough juice cause when I unplug one, the other 2 work fine. My lights aren't working right either. Live and learn I spose. Ill post more pics when I get the new pump motor on wed. I should have the electrical issues worked out this week as well. Should be finished by Friday (I hope)
on another note. I got the thing fired up today with the stock heat sink on and got xp installed. No issues at all. Loaded Call of Duty 2 on it just for fun and it looks better than ever. Ill run some benchmarks once im done. I don't want to overclock too heavily until the watercooling system is up and running.

this thing is going to be BA!
Re: Metropolis RED mod (title changed)
nice, i think you need to get a movie clip up though, cause the shinyness makes me confussed and looks kinda cluttered. This is gonna be a sharp mod tho.
Re: Metropolis RED mod (title changed)
Very nice man. All of your sleeving and wire organization makes me feel really bad about my cable sleeving job lol. Keep up the awesome work
