Turkey done modder's style

This is a worklog of sorts. And this also harkens back to my bachelor days :D.

First off, a recipe that I have perfected (imo anyway)

Andouille Apple Pecan Stuffing
1 lb. day old bread, cubed in 1" pieces
~1.5 lbs. Andouille sausage, ground
3 stalks celery, diced
1 medium onion, diced
1 apple of your choice, diced
1/2 cup of Pecan pieces
1 can Chicken Broth
1 Tbsp olive oil

In a small (~1.5 to 2 qt) stockpot over medium high heat, brown sausage for 5 minutes, then add onion, celery, apple, and pecan pieces and saute for ~5 minutes more. Add bread cubes and chicken broth. Stir and stuff bird.

Since this 14 lb bird is stuffed, I'm roasting it @ 350 F for 3 and a half hours (best to figure 15 minutes per lb @ 350 for a stuffed bird).

And now for the modding!

One of these years, I'll attempt a Turducken, but not this year. Anyways...

One stock turkey, who will be turned into turkey stock tomorrow...

Stuffing. My favorite part of dinner!

And here's where it gets a PG-13 rating:

Yes. A bikini. With the wife's blessings no less!

Stuffed.

And the bikini bottom!

Another update in roughly 3.5 hours, as this bird is in the oven!

And Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

you are a disturbed man.

I should sneak some LED's with me to turkeydeath and get pictures of my "modded" dinner.

The only reason I came to this thread was to see some naked breasts.
You just ruined my day.

You better not forget to baste that bird.

Might be kinda hard to do that--the 'bikini' as it is is not attached. I'll give it a go here in a bit and give an update, as I think I know how to keep it in place.

Edit: Basting won't be a problem as long as I'm gentle. No problems there!

And now the moment you've all been waiting for:

I'm beginning to think that the original picture was photoshopped.

Oh well, it's still tasty!

Thumper, you're a freak man! (in a good way) That bird looks incredible, and I'm going to have to try that stuffing one of these days. +rep after I spread it around.

That stuffing will tickle your tonsils on the way down--andouille is a Cajun pork sausage for those of you who don't know.

I also make a bitchin (so I've been told) Turkey gumbo. If anyone wants that recipe, PM me.

Re: Turkey done modder's style

Mmmmm... that looks good. Now I want more food lol.

Just had dinner with the girlfriends moms thanksgiving, and less than a half hour later had a dinner with her dad. Needless to say I had two plates of food. (We have thanksgiving with my family tomorrow, couldn't fit 3 dinners in one day with the hour plus drive between homes.)

Then I had four pieces of pie lol. Apple, Chocolate Cream, Pumpkin, and Blueberry. There is a Pecan Pie just waiting to be tasted as well.

Well Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, even if you don't celebrate it, have a great day. And I send my hope and such out to everyone that may not be as blessed as I am. Typing what I ate made me a little sad thinking about others. So I just only hope the very best for you. Im not a religious person, but I send my prayers and thoughts out to those who are in need. Happy Thanksgiving.

Hell Joe,

You should submit that to the front page under "submit content" and call it a blog. When I get home I'll publish it.

For reference, here's what I was aiming for:

I might try this with a chicken in the near future just to see if this picture was indeed photoshopped.

Put bacon over where you want the bikini to be. Trust me on this *grins*

I had a hard time clicking the next button because I was laughing so hard at the
. I'm definitely doing a bikini turkey next year. I love it. My Mother-in-law is going to hate me. Oh well.
