ooooh, its shiny! I can totally see your reflection in the paint!
That is sweet :)
Thanks guys. Yeah, those wheels are an eyesore, but they'll be fixed this winter. Actually, the whole thing might get a fresh coat of paint. We'll see what happens.
Your paint looks great! If the wheels are going to be dealt with next winter, a quick temp fix wipe em with laquer thinner then black (or any other color) rattle can. Should hold up to a seasons worth.
Here's some finished pictures. My buddy still has a couple of parts to buy, (ram air tunnels) but my part is done. Once it's 100% complete, we'll be taking it out for a good photoshoot.
Sharp... but that yellow... =((((.... would look sexy with some white rims too, make them flat so they look like anodized alum? lol... Other than that that bike looks damn sexy
Agreed. Great job on the paint job! The wheels definitely need a change though. ;) And I think a touch of chrome (or maybe just polishing, idk) on the muffler would work wonders.
Yeah, the wheels are definitely an eyesore, but my buddy didn't break it down enough to change anything on them this time. That muffler actually needs to be replaced. The bike was layed down on that side (hence all the fiberglass work), and the muffler got pretty chewed up. So much so that we had to rivet part of it back together. He cleaned it up as best as he could with some sandpaper and a wire wheel until he can afford a new one ($400). You can kinda see some of the damage in this picture.
I know this one is old, but it's getting repainted. Here's the start. The wheels are finally getting changed this time! They're getting a white powder coat.
