Sweet dude:) Its not really hard at all. You just need some patience. I have no patience but when it comes to this I do, because I love it. If you loved it wont seem as hard to learn/ to do. It might be frustrating here and there but once your done doing what your are doing,... it all pays off and you are all ready to do it again:)
EDIT: OH,... AND WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!! LOL.

So I am thinking that I will open a design studio so I can get out of my mothers garage. I would do all my work there and I was also thinking about become a supplier of materials too such as acrylic and aluminum. I would have ll the popular colors and thicknesses. I would have sheets, rods and tubes in both materials. I was also thinking about supplying little things that I use for my projects such as bolts, the nice ones,... hex button and cheese head, hose barbs, clamps, yadda yadda. The studio would be equipped with so cool quipment such as a laser for cutting acrylic:) I would have to look into it, talk to A.C. Ryan, see what they say. I want to find a place wher eI can live there too. That I am really shooting for,... this way I could work around the clock with ease. I wouldnt have to worry about driving to work,... I would be right there. I also want to maybe setup a live web camera or cameras so you guyz can tune in and watch. I mean I am going to be working constantly so you guyz would see me all the time. What do you think?

Re: TRIBALOVERKILL, "Blackout" Updated--> 06/24/05
So the material that I'll provide can be cut to size, general sizes. You can get say 4'x8', 4'x4', 2'x4', 2'x2', 1'x1', etc. I dont know the sizes for sure yet. Anyways,... I most liekly wont be able to get the machinery to make super clean accurate cuts so I thought I would offer score and snapped sheets which leave a not so good looking edge and the sizes wouldnt be exactly say 4'x4',... it would be like a 16th of an inch off. So you would have to take that into consideration before purchasing. The thing is that I would sell it for a reasonable price. The whole idea is to help fund what I use to do my work. Not really looking to make huge prfoit off materials just enough to fund maybe a little extra just in case. Point being,... it would be cheaper then an actual acrylic supplier. They carry evrything,... I carry what you most likely need. Now,... the studio is probably going to have a laser that can be used to cut acrylic and wood. For a little bit more I could use that to cut you whatever you want really as long as it's sized within the limits of the machine. It as you know already leaves nice edges:) I was told that its not cnc,... I believe it works off of images. Not to sure just yet but I am:) You could send me custom prints and wham! Done:) Aluminum,... same thing, I would jig saw or ue a circular saw to make the cuts. Would be cheaper then getting it from a metal shop. Cant laser the aluminum though. Tubes, rods, blocks whatever. What do you think of this? most suppliers wont even sell you smaller pieces. This would keep me goign to and keep you guyz modding. What do you think?

i think it's great, especially for people that don't have the tools to cut everything up. i know that for myself (once i'm done with college this next year and actually have an income) would probably take advantage of the laser cut acrylic. would be great for all of the custom designed pieces that can be hard to do with normal tools. how would you price things? would you offer welding too?

Haven;t though to dep abuot pricing yet. I'll worry about it later but the idea is to make sure its cheaper then the other suppliers. Offer welding? I will be welding,... what do you mean by offering welding? Customs welds? If so I dont think so because remember I have to design and create. I cant get caught up doing a ton of custom work for sale. But you never know though. One step at a time.
Re: TRIBALOVERKILL, "Blackout" Updated--> 06/24/05
Sounds like a very cool plan, bro. I'd be very interested in seeing how this would take off.
Re: TRIBALOVERKILL, "Blackout" Updated--> 06/24/05
I would offer some type of kit, I mean it takes a really organized person too know exactly what measurements he's gonna need and all the parts for it. It would be much easier if you made some minimal like hard drive rack kit, or just offered ideas on how to use your parts to make certain case mods for at least the novice modders like myself. That's just my two cents.
