I was hoping that you might be able to cut the ring. I could do it myself, if it makes it easier on you. It's just a flat ring of aluminum.

Acer doesn't make this monitor anymore, so it's hard to find a current retail value. I bought it at 140...

If you are talking about making the mesh, you won't have to worry about that. I'm getting it pre-made from FrozenCPU.

Parts were washed in distilled water, no soap. boiled water on parts that weren't electronic and parts too big to fit in the pot lol.
