    Re: Dual color LED wiring?

My understanding of dual colour leds is that there are three wires/pins.
A common anode and then 2 cathodes, 1 for each colour.

So you would supply a +voltage to the cathode corresponding to the...

    Re: Greetings from London...

Welcome to TBCS, if you use Maplins for modding supplies you may also want to visit Farnel and Hindleys

I have found both to be very useful.

    Re: Simple Switch

Yes a momentary switch is the same as a standard power/reset switch, sometimes called a push-to-make switch. The connection is made by pressing the switch, but releases once you let go.

    Hope that...

Re: Black screen, Flashing white line

I had the same problem a little while back. Turns out somehow my bios had switched my external hard disk to 1st priority ?!?!

As slytherock said, check your boot sequence and disk priority.

Re: i need all your input

Could do a range of covers for the corsair ram cooler, fan covers (not grills) kinda like full 'box' surrounds ...... Just take a part people trust and use and make it look better buy covering it.

Re: i need all your input

One possibility would be covers for parts. Like chromed pump covers etc. Would work for pretty much any part if done right.

    Template Design Software

I think this would be the right place for this, I would class it as a tool.

My question is, what software do people use to draw templates.

Say you wanted a perfect template to cut a hole in a...

    Re: Next Project?

Yeah sorry reading my post back I didn't really explain very well.

Lets say I have the loop set out as in the picture with the splitters and the valves. The three valves are in the open position,...

    Re: Next Project?

First off thankyou everyone for your input.

So it does look like I would have a flow problem if I split the loop. I was worried about this, I knew water would take the path with least resistance...

    Re: Next Project?

@ Silverdemon - Thanks, that's very helpful. It would make sense that there would be a slower flow and lower pressure through the 3 tubes.

Now my next question is going to be, would having a...

    Re: Next Project?

@ silverdemon - Thanks, I would be using a 12V Laing DDC1+ Ultra 18W for the pump, hopefully that will be more than enough to get the water moving. Just worried about having 3 inputs and only one...

    Re: Next Project?

I have been trying to develop the idea a little further and am starting to get a picture of what I want from this case.

I am leaning towards a kind of 'cartoon-like industrial' theme:

I say average specs as I think it will be about 6-8 months before I start buying the hardware and we all know how far things will have moved spec's wise in that lenght of time.
