It is now 6Gbps. Intel demoed it at IDF and that was the new speed. Still not fast enough to last more than a year though and then it will once again become the bottleneck of data transfer.

If IE is faster, it's firefox, otherwise, it's your modem or router if you have one. Clean firefox's cache and do a disc cleanup, that sometimes helps.

I have the Zalman cooler and it keeps a 6400+ below 60 C under load, so I would highly recommend the CNPS-9500. Also my processer sits at around 40 C on idle which is far better than the 50 C idle...

Yah, last time I switched out a mobo I had to call Microsoft and have them register windows xp again for me. But this time with Vista the change took mere minutes and my computer works perfectly now.

I figured out the problem, and the problem was... My Motherboard.
And considering that my motherboard had compatibility issues with several USB peripherals, and most of the case fan ports weren't...
