Re: Should I make the switch to SATA?

Depend on what model SCSI drive it is.

Yes a good SATA drive would be well worth it. I recommend a WD 320GB Blue (AAKS models), WD 640GB black, WD 1TB Black, Seagate 7200.12 500GB or 1TB drives....

    Re: Pimpin' GMC Bulldozer Case.

I really like the look of the Bulldozer. More particulary the CD tray ^^

Let's see. How could I make a similar system on an Antec 900?

    Re: Buisness laptop advice

Actually, Ive never heard of such a thing. The G1 batteries have no problem, in probably 30 different reviews Ive read about different G1 models.

    LOL

Asus not being a top brand? Im quite sorry there. They're underestimated at all levels. They make good motherboards, video cards, laptops. Better build quality than HP, better priced than Sony...

Re: Break out those violent video games!

    LOL!

Yea, that mentality's quite weird. Its not because you can shoot civillians in a game that you can IRL. I personally always loved big rifles such as M4s and similars, and always kinda liked...

Re: Canon E18 Error, Or "I'm Camera Shopping"

That's too bad, because it's a really great camera. Owning myself one, it's something totally apart from a P&S. I don't know what you like to do with a camera, but you may want to take a look at the...

Re: Canon E18 Error, Or "I'm Camera Shopping"

Id suggest the XTi, but it's kinda out of your budget. Plus it runs on its own batteries, altho you can get handles that will work with stock battery and AAs for even longer longevity.

    Re: Quad Core Lappy?

The day you'll see laptops with stock watercooling from factory, assuming you want a performing quadcore, lol.

Seriously, my C2D T7200 hears up at around 60-70C while playing. I don't see how the...

Re: Antec 900, a good choice?

Thanks for the info. The Lian-Li PC-A17 is a nice-looking case, looks similar to the Antec 900, but... IDK. I personally prefer the more robust look of the Antec. Im not planning on moving the case...

    Re: E8400 vs Q6600

Which resolution are you going to game?

The GT is good for lower res, such as 1440x900 and no higher. You can start looking into the GTS (1680x1050) and GTX/Ultra (1920x1200) for higher res...

    Re: E8400 vs Q6600

Maybe, but in your case in which you can't overclock you may want to have a ratio of FSB/RAM of at least 1:1 since you can't overclock to compensate for the lost memory speed.

    IMHO Get some 800MHz...

Same here. Prople are in a hurry to buy a huge, ugly iPod which costs them hundreds and ends up not liking it because it always crashes and after half a year the 14-hour battery now lasts 6 hours.
